Agreed and if not next season, the season after.

He is, easily. It's so frustrating that he hasn't been more effective though this season, especially given how much he's played.

I'm hopeful Godfather's right about next season, and it wouldn't surprise me either to be honest.

But it's impossible to get anything useful out of him.

Apart from his strange reluctance to cross when anywhere in or around the box, he played OK on Saturday, certainly seen worse from him this season.

But that's his major flaw - it's almost like he has some kind of psychological block to try something dangerous for fear of losing possession, as his crossing while not brilliant can be quite effective on the rare occasions it's done, though more at set pieces than open play. I didn't mind it earlier in the season when we were picking up points regularly, as if nothing else he was still fun and stylish to watch, but now it's become quite frustrating as I really want him to succeed and become a great player for us who can contribute something of substance and not just style.

I had a dream the other night about Jurado which summed him up neatly - cuts inside, in a perfect position to either (a) shoot or (b) pass to a better placed teammate at the far post, in the end does neither, hesitates as if afflicted by some paralysis in his right boot, and then concedes the ball tamely to an opposition player a few feet away. Uncannily realistic, given that dreams usually go by wacky opposites.
