Wonder if we'll start at a high tempo, it would make a change but I suppose we'll just play at walking pace again.
I've stopped watching on TV and disabled score alerts on my phone as a result I'm much happier on Saturday evenings. Things will get worse before they get bet.....worse
Get well soon WWTW. Happy anniversary to THGTTG, published in 1979 on this day. Seems apposite to say " so long and thanks for all the fish". Or possibly " wretched ".
Remember when services like that used to charge you per goal? I had the old Orange mobile network score alerts and it cost me £0.99 to find out that Watford have conceded a goal. Thankfully now we have apps that give them for free.
I'm hoping Slaven has gotten through to the players and we have some defenders back. Not feeling too confident about the game but you never know.
I don't think there is going to be any protest so I won't be going. I hope the atmosphere is toxic though.
They put 3 past this defence in January. How many will they put past this defence on Saturday? I bet Josh Sargent can't wait for this one.
Actually got my dates mixed up for this, but mercifully I’m at a gig in Hackney anyway so will still be missing it though.
Depends on how many crosses our valiant captain shirks out of trying to block, or how many high balls he ducks under. It's not all on him, but he is as fault for a few of our goals this season. Yet we are more or less forced to play him due to having nobody else.
An increasing number of goals that have resulted from Kabasele errors would not have been conceded if we'd had a National League centre back in there. Simple basics like winning a header or blocking a cross would have stopped a few goals at least. He cannot pass the ball, all he needs to do is clear the ball and win his duels but even that is beyond him.
Fingers crossed there's another train strike so I have a reason not to go. Having a season ticket is a curse these days.
Not much on social media from the players or club this week. How do I know who is working hard in training?
Haven’t heard a thing this week either I imagine they are licking their wounds after being mauled up in Lancashire and hoping they are not going to get pecked by the canaries come Saturday
I reckon it’s all a tactic this losing stuff, drive away the fans, play in front of an empty stadium…… just like our promotion season during the pandemic! It worked last time and makes much more sense than buying a squad able to play in this league
The Canaries sing their way to an easy victory. An embarrassing performance on TV by a woeful Watford side. 5-0 to Norwich City.
Where's João? "Doctors say he's got a 50/50 chance of playing, though there's only a 10% chance of that"
