Bets on Janmaat being dropped after one mistake, with Femenia - who makes about 10 a game, every game, for the last year - coming straight back in?
I’m predicting our gutless wonders will roll over and have their tummies tickled. 1-2 to Sheff U, our solitary goal coming in the 92nd minute ( probably Andre Gray super sub )
Bl**dy he!l, Spurs 3-0 down to Brighton If we don’t win today we’re gunna feel their backlash after back to back big defeats, just like City.
Well nobody saw that team coming.. Capoue and QSF fallen out again or is he injured? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
At least he's trying something different. Could be interesting. Capoue injured? I'd have dropped AD instead personally. Welbeck and Gray up top could be decent.
It’s like in Football Manager when you start getting desperate and change your formation every game without giving the players a chance to get used to it.
Janmaat and Holebas in particular don't really like defending, and Janmaat in particular can be dangerous going forward. It'll be more 3 at the back than 5.
And dropping Dawson, that's a big thumbs up from me as well. That decision alone gives me some faith in QSF. It remains to be seen how Prodl does on his return, but touch wood Cathcart and Kabs do okay and so retain their places ahead of CD when we return to a back four.
Trying to match formation against a team that has mastered that formation is just strange though. Glad to see Dawson and Kiko out but this is Stoke-esque.
We're matching up against Sheff Utd's formation - it really isn't uncommon for teams to do that against sides who ritualistically play 5-3-2.
Trying to catch them out. It may work. Surely the definition of madness is repeatedly trying the same thing, despite constant failure?
Here we go lads, good line up that. Bit more leadership at the back with Prodl and a lot more solid overall. Looking forward to seeing Welbeck and Grey playing together. Watford 4-0 Sheff Utd COYH
What bloody difference does it matter where the pitch is? The side needs to defend. QSF's clearly making that his emphasis.
