Is this really the first time we have played them competitively? I seem to vaguely remember loads of games against them in MK, maybe friendlies or spurs ones???
We played Wimbledon at the hockey stadium before they turned in MK Dons. We then had a friendly against them at the new stadium and also played Spurs in the cup there.
We beat them 4-0 in the old Division 1 as well, remember Lee Cook having a storming game if it's the one I'm thinking of.
Should be a high scoring affair with two really good sides. Crunching challenges and a full house. 0-0. MK Dons win 3-0 on Pens.
If anyone was in any doubt about who are true rivals are, all will be made clear by 8pm... It's L**on.
Is this another of those irritating games that isn’t shown anywhere (seem to remember something about the efl cup not being broadcast) ?
Team doesn't seem that much weaker then our previous lineup (obviously it is, but the gap is smaller than in previous seasons imo). I fully expect a win here.
Amazed Asprilla isn't one of them, he's a kid, and picked up a knock at the weekend. Perhaps he'll just get 45 mins?
Well we got one wish correct - Bayo and Manaj get another chance to ignite their season as a duo, let's hope they take it. Looking forward to see how Okoye does as well. Gosling should play better than he has recently.
Think it was a bit of wishful thinking on my part to hope Hause would feature even from the bench, but is it a bit concerning that noted crock Keinan Davis isn't even on the bench again? This kind of game is perfect for getting a few minutes into the legs
In previous years SSN have shown the goals and key chances pretty much as they happen. Not sure if it’s the same tonight.
Davis is giving me Cucho vibes. Yes he isn't quite ready yet in match fitness, but what's to say the club don't chuck him out on loan? He could be great or he could be average, but we will never know if he never gets any minutes. Here's hoping he at least makes the bench vs QPR.
