    http://africanfootball.com//news/554960/Port-Vale-skipper-warns-of-Bulldozer-Uche-Ikpeazu?

"He's a bulldozer. He's going to be a handful," warned the skipper.

"I would say he's up there with Dele Adebola in terms of players I've played with or against, and Dele was a strong, strong man.

"He can just grip you and roll you, and that's what Dele used to love to do. He'd wait for the ball to come, get a hold of you and you couldn't move. Uche's got that in him."

little excerpt there from none other than Carl ****inson, seems Uche has learned a few tricks from Troy

Yes we've all heard before how strong Ikpeazu is. Don't really care about that to be honest, I'll sit up and take notice once he starts scoring and assisting.

You know we've come a long way when the next Dele Adebola can't even get in our team.

Sounds like he has a problem with going it alone and not getting his head up according to Crewe and Port Vale fans. I'm sure there's a decent player in there but if he can't get that out of his system and having a year left on his deal I think he'll be off in January, I'm sure that's why we've only let him out for 6 months, so we can review his situation in January.

I saw so many clips from last year and already one from Port Vale, where he brilliantly muscles past multiple people then squanders the chance when easy passes were on.

Infuriatingly unintelligent sometimes. Hopefully it should come with experience. He needs a manager who can coach it out of him.

Started well but couldn't get a starting place back in recent months. Test him in the Championship if someone will have him. Although he's out of contract so maybe get a cheeky couple of hundred grand for him.

Only 5 goals this season. With Jaukbiak impressing for the U21s, Oulare waiting for his chance and Obi and Folivi hyped up, I can't help but wonder if Ikpeazu's Watford career is over before it even started.

Doubt we'd get anything for him other than a % of any sell on fee - best we can hope for.

I'd put him in the U21s for a while to see how he does, and if he does well maybe give him another year. Can't imagine he is earning much.

Well you sign these young kids who destroy under 18 teams but they don't always develop as much as you want them to. I wonder if they'll keep him close now and give him some under 21 football to see if he can earn a new deal? Although if we are signing another striker then Oulare is nailed on for under 21 football for the rest of the season.

According to a poster on the Vale Forum he has lost interest and has a habit of turning up late for training. Probably bull**** and hopefully wrong as it would be a shame to see another promising career go down the pan a la Murray.

Robert Page tells it pretty brutally for the BBC re Uche. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/35226684

Summary :- Big time charlie, too expensive for us, who only turns it on when he feels like or particularly when 1000's of fans are chanting his name. Otherwise forget it.

I saw him for the u21's in one of their first matches this season and couldn't believe what an out of condition, lumbering, lump he was. Unsurprisingly subbed very early.

He is doing fine at Wycombe and will get back to a higher level judged on his performances there.

If only someone paid us £8 million for Ikpeazu, the two are hardly comparable though

    Just a thought!

Imagine teaming Ikpeazu up with Oulare! It would probably scare the pants off most opposition defenders; one is 6'3" and the other is 6'5" I think and both are built like brick ****houses

    EDIT:

For those who might be interested, I am not actually suggesting we do this, I am just invisaging how defenders might feel were they faced with those two confronting them.

With those two up front, Forestieri at wing-back and Angella in CDM, we'd win the league! COYH!!

Do you think Ikpeazu is still considered one for the future or do you think he is now surplus to our requirements?

Contract is up in the summer I believe so I think it's clear we're simply facilitating loans to clubs in an effort to give him an extended trial somewhere.

Blackpool fans seem to like him. Then again, so did Crewe, Doncaster and Port Vale until he'd played more than a couple of games for them.
