I wouldn't read into the Fessi thing at all. Ikpeazu had been getting next to no game time at Doncaster, and according to their fans on the Doncaster forum, he was very angry after being subbed off last weekend. I suspect they didn't like his attitude and sent him back to us.
Well if I had go to work every morning and listen to Paul ****ov, I'd be angling for a change of employer too.
And we all know what happens to players at Watford with bad attitudes. That said, Uche tweeted something along the lines of "a boy just wants to play football" earlier today. I take that to mean either he wants more game time, or as you said, he wasn't happy with being subbed-off. In the case of the latter, hopefully over time he'll realise that players do get subbed-off in football sometimes.
He can indeed, technically these have been emergency loans, or at least the Crewe loan was so he can play for one more club.
I don't blame Uche for being upset at getting subbed. He went out on loan for game time and Donny gave him virtually nothing. That has to be beyond frustrating. He could have stayed at Crewe and got experience. I can only assume Donny made promises about giving him first team experience that they haven't kept. I can't see the club recalling him from Crewe just so he could sit on the bench at Donny.
Back to Crewe? http://www.crewechronicle.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/crewe-alex-close-deal-uche-8831306
Back at Crewe. Think we can safely assume this means Forestieri will be shipped to Doncaster due to his diving, with Forrester coming the other way to replace Forestieri due to his diving.
Sensible decision to get him back to a club who will actually play him and play to his strengths. Don't know if it was the club or his agent who instigated the move to Doncaster but in hindsight he'd have been much better staying at Crewe.
It was a ludicrous decision to recall him from Crewe in the first place. If it was his agent that was whispering in his ear, then Uche needs to do the right thing and fire him. Idiot.
I'd be surprised if we didn't sell up next season. I don't imagine he's going to get into the first team here.
I reckon we should test him out at a good League 1 team or poor Championship team. If he doesn't show much progress, then probably time to get rid. He's only 20, but with his physical advantage we should be hoping he'll push on a bit.
Don't forget we are joining the under 21 programme next season. Probably not as competitive as league football but I reckon the likes of Jakubiak and Ikpeazu might stay to train with the first team whilst getting regular games in the under 21 league.
No chance. Lower reaches of League 1 is the best we can hope for any of our academy players if loaned out.
He needs to make this year his year. Granted, he's had bad luck with injuries in the past but he really needs to make an impression and start scoring goals at Port Vale this season if he is to have a career at Watford. Really hope this move works out for him.
Always watched out for Crewe and Doncaster highlights on Football League Show to see how he was getting on and unfortunately the thing that stood out most was how appalling his touch was. I think a career knocking around L1/L2 beckons as although you can improve things like positioning and finishing, touch is natural and he would never be able to play football at a team that plays a passing game.
Do we know for sure whether QSF favours the passing game? I'd heard he likes to get it forward early and hope for loose balls in and around e box. I also heard he lays out his midfield like a hedge, or technically. A double privet.
