Forcing spurs to play out on the wings where they have been diabolical. However it means we will have to play on the pitch where we have been even worse.

I was fuming at the QSF appointment because I remember being SO bored watching us that first season and then I read some of the comments on here. And then I remembered, 13th place, Ighalo, FA Cup Semi-Final, Guediora rocket at Arsenal, 3-0 against Liverpool and I thought oh, maybe I was just spoilt back then and QSF did a good job.

Now I'm seeing this horrible negative s*&t again. Today, it's actually appropriate, Kane is world class, Lucas can be and Son is bloody brilliant. So I get it, we can't afford a hammering.

But if he does this week on week for us to come 17th I don't know if I can hack it.

Shocking goalkeeping from Foster. Misjudged a simple catch and there goes the lead we’d worked so hard to defend. A portion of blame must also go to Femenia for a) letting the ball bounce b) then not getting the **** out of Foster’s way when he called for it

    So Femenia costs the win.

A much improved performance defensively. Players blocking the ball, defending in small units, covering each other, work rate high all the aspects you need to keep a tight defence. Just a shame on the several breakways much has been the case in recent times since the departure of Zola we have been unable to take them. Otherwise that would have been a comfortable win. Also the penalty decision not going in favour of Deulofeu was bizarre even though he played for it.

No surprise that when Doucoure and Pereyra are on their game the side looks much improved. Cleverley was immense as well and the back three played well and that includes Dawson. Just a pity about the late error once again miscommunication at the back. That would have been Foster's otherwise.

To be honest Tottenham are in a dreadful run of form so a point may actually not be that great and we are still hunting for that first win. If we play like this every week they will come. Unfortunate for Welbeck and hopefully it's just a strain.

As s former goalkeeper, one of the first things I was taught - clear everyone out including your own team mates.

Don't collect with your hands, cradle it in your arms and if Kiko gets your elbow in his ribs...tough, get out of the way.

Im more annoyed about today than any other game so far this season. VAR is terrible. Whats the actual point in it when so far this season not one wrong decision has been overturned.

Plus our finishing again atrocious. Should have had 3 or 4.

    Plus defensive cockups in defence.

On the plus side. Dawson, Kabasele, Janmaat, Cleverley Pererya others played well.. and Doucoure was back to his better self.

    I feel sick.

    Kabasele, Dawson & Cathcart fantastic.

    Doucoure absolutely titanic.

    Pereyra & Janmaat great.

    Cleverley dogged.

The perfect away performance, QSF plan executed to perfection. Spurs had a lot of the ball but no real chances created, Foster didn't have to do much, three more minutes we would've seen that out all day. They brought on Son, Lamela & NDombele, that's like £120 million worth.

Introducing, Kiko Femenia. The guy looks like he's won a competition to play right now I almost feel sorry for him. Clueless, gutless and spineless footballer. I'm sick of the sight of his midget self walking round the pitch with his ****** flappy hair bouncing about, Clevlery even came and done his job for him in the last two minutes. The whole team should be allowed to give him a punch to the face on the way back to the coach. Shouldn't be near the matchday squad for weeks, banish him and wrap Janmaat in cotton wool.

Foster, retire at the end of the season please, take Danny Welbeck with you.

    VAR a complete farce.

Hopefully, being that close three points against Spurs inspires the boys rather than leaving them deflated. Would've been so good to get that first win monkey off our shoulders.

Unleash Sarr - ST - GD front 3 against Bournemouth next week and let's go for it!

Great performance today. Not the prettiest, but great effort, we definitely should have had a penalty, and we also had the better chances overall.

They'll be gutted, but they need to take the positives, as that should give their confidence a boost, and a good springboard to stuff the muff, next week.

Disagree, Foster could and should have done a lot more.

The goal shouldn't have stood anyway but both players still made a pig's ear of it.

We were robbed of two points today. VAR is absolutely pointless in its current form.

    This absolutely

I spent the last 30 mins convinced they were going to score, but we held out , then a fumble, a mistake and goal that should t have counted

way I see it was today VAR made 3 big mistakes, should have been 2 Penalties and a ruled out goal. I get it’s not perfect but five decisions (I think) were reviewed by var and it got three of them wrong

I am absolutely gutted, thought it was a reasonable performance with visible signs of growing confidence and started to believe we could kick on and rescue the season

and what the **** was going on with scoreboard showing disallowed and the goal still standing , makes you wonder if the ref misheard the decision

Devastated after that. What a major **** up by Foster and Femenia. I blame Foster the most because he called for it and didn’t make it his own he should have cleaned Femenia out to get that. We were absolutely solid today but our decision making going forward was atrocious and as for Deulofeu what a lazy *******. No drive or commitment there what so ever ******* pathetic. Single points are not enough now we need wins and this point feels like a defeat. As for VAR, what a ******* so unclear on every level. Deulofeu situation was a penalty all day and as for the Ali goal, who decides where the hand ball rule ends on the arm? Just useless

  34. hornetgags

Let's be honest, it was either going to take a worldie or an error for them to score.

Other than that the defence was superb.

For the last 10 minutes Deulofeu was gassed, so I would have liked to have seen Sarr come on and let him run the channels and at least give us an outball.

VAR had a nightmare today. Absolutely stonewall penalty for the foul on Delf and Kiko was completely at fault for Ali’s goal. Foster was screaming for it and Kiko just didn’t respond but Ali’s goal should never have stood. Clear hand ball.

What’s even worse is that the ref was waiting for VAR on Ali’s goal, the championship ref who has never officiated a premier league game gave the goal while VAR Central in Stockley Park shows no goal on the board.

I’m all for VAR but today was a complete **** up and tore apart what I think was a great performance. Play like that and we will be fine.
