We are going to win by one goal and Poch will be fired later on. You have to be sacked if you lose to Watford.
We could do with a bit of the guts, determination and spirit that our rugby boys showed today. Now back in the real world.....
Naturally. Half Watford, half Spurs, half Arsenal, half Man City and half Man City. Not having Liverpool scum on my half and half scarf
This season has turned me to drink in a way no other has. I see no reason that won’t be the case again today.
Do you think we'll see the same formatuon as Sheff Utd? If there was one game 'keep it tight' was about, today is it. We cannot afford to attack them like Brighton did for two main reasons: 1. We can't score very much 2. If we are caught on the counter we need as many back to help out as possible. Perhaps last 10 venture forward if its still 0-0. Getting a point here would be a boost, but the pressure is more on them.
I'm going to be able to boo from the bar with a beer in my hand. Free beer too. I call today's game a true free hit
Chance to see our team in an historic match at a marvellous, new stadium against Champions League finalists. This is what it's all about.
Probably the first refreshing, unique positive approach on the forum the past 2 weeks. Hope you enjoyed your 2 week holiday PozzMan.
I'm off to the Imperial War Museum during the match, although I expect those at White Hart Lane will see more defensive tactics than me.
Summary of QSF positive comments: We’re 30-35% of where we want to be. I didn’t have a preseason. Dawson and the team lack confidence. Pochettino is the best EPL coach ever and I love him and worship the ground he walks on. We have to be realistic. We’re only 8 games in, there’s another 30 games of my positive approach for us all to enjoy .. Did I miss anything?
Foster, Janmaat, Dawson, Cleverley, Welbeck, Chalobah, Cathcart, Doucoure, Holebas, Kabasele, Pereyra.
Pretty good lineup. 5 across the back so very defensive. Glad Gray isn't starting. Hope we see early subs second half i.e Delafoo and Sarr. Mind you we all liked the look of the team at Wolves and look how that ended...
Oh Quina, how I miss your fearless confidence and desire to get on the ball, even when things don’t always work out. As **** as he’s been so far, it’s great to see our record signing winger sitting on the bench while we line up without wingers. We’ve completely wrecked Sarr. Poor bloke.
A really horrible and negative team selection but the situation calls for it, hopefully not the same against Bournemouth otherwise I'd genuinely rather just get relegated
Looks as if he's trying to force them to play through a raft of bodies in the centre of the pitch. Presumably any scoring on our part would be on the counter or a set piece. Can't be much worse a plan than what's been tried already.
Not a single player in that line-up with any pace, other than perhaps Welbeck, who is quick, but more in a clever way, rather than getting the ball and breaking between the lines into space. It makes me sick that Quina doesn’t even get on the bench. We’re crying out for somebody who can get on the ball and turn into space to play forward and get into positions that opposition defenders have to worry about.
