I unfortunately cannot make it as flight costs would be circa £300 before I even get into beers/tickets/hotels. I won't even be able to watch the damn match as it's whack bang in the middle of the 6 Nations which is a bigger draw in the expat pubs over here
Rich, you can ferry it from roscoff on the thursday and return sunday (overnight) for 164 quid (inc. cabin).
it will sell out, we have thouands of glory huntrs remember? This will be a big game for them to say - "i was there, i saw us get into the semi's". Sell out for sure.
I think it's time for those of you resident in Watford to email your MP about transport policy. There will be 2-3000 fans wanting to get to Plymouth and you seem to be saying that it won't be possble by train. Well, if the government is committed to reducing congestion and pollution they have to make sure it's possible. You would also think that the train operator would like the revenue and might want to think about having the work done another weekend.
They did it on purpose, they new wfc and plymouth would both reach this round, they know the date yet they insist on working. I ca't ucking believe it. BTW - do they take oyster cards in Plymouth?
I have emailed someone this afternoon about taking potential travel issues in to consideration when negotiating with TV companies. Plus alternative transport issues.
will have 5 spaces (no money wanted as company car) in my car from Milton Keynes , assuming i manage to get a ticket .
**** its my family 18th on march 11th what a load of bollox! Can i not go and scive onto coach leaving family behind?? worth the hiding on return?? Such a dilema!
lol I honestly cant see my going :dismay: Train is impossible and very pricey (with yp rail card) for a game which will more than likely be on tv. Anyone have any option please let me know. I prefer to see the horns play live rather than on screen.
I think coach may be the only option for moi , trains not running probley and expensive mrs caz wont drive flights over priced
well as i live up north its going to cost me nearly £100 just to get to watford and then match ticket and travel to plymouth so im looking at about £130 for this trip im thinking about giveing it a miss but i wont make a my mind up till about thursday
Probably going to make it a dirty weekend with Mrs R Horn and stay down there for the night, although she doesn't know it yet!:angel3: :tongue1:
