Tickets/Trains to plymouth

do trains run to plymouth? never been...... and when will the tickets come on sale?

 

Paddington to plymouth - easy journey. or join the train at Reading.

 

What dates are the fixtures played?

 

10 or 11th of march

 

Im looking at prices now

 

Tickets prices are £15 for under 16's

 

the train is going to cost loads

 

I'm halfway there but not much chance of a ticket. Unlikely to go to silver members.

 

No direct trains due to enginering works on the 10th

 

Plymouth is good, couple of nice pubs by the park...I like it down there.

I think Paddys option would be best, possibly quickest as well. If you go North towards Brummy land, then Tiverton Parkway to Plymouth via Virgin trains then a bus, its too much hassle.

If i left mk at 9.30ish i wouldnt get there for ko!!!!! :rant:

To be honest Paddys way isnt much better, but atleast it would get me there on time lol

I just checked and it looks like you cant fly to plymouth. :doom:

 

Train is sounding difficult and costly, i doubt i have the money anyway so i'm hoping it's on TV.

 

You can from, gatwick although if you want to see the whole game then you cant get a flight back

 

It will definitely be on TV. 2 games on saturday and 2 games on Sunday

 

Megatrain runs from Waterloo - Exeter, and also Exeter - Plymouth. I've got a complete return journey for a fiver before so easy done. Does anyone know when the tickets go on sale? Living in Plymouth is handy but would much rather sit in the Away stand!!

 

It seems there are no trains to plymouth due to enginering works

 

You can get a direct train on the Friday so I might do that

 

with there being 4 games and they will all be on tv , if we get a 12:45 kick off then you can fly from gatwick to plymouth.

Air Southwest from Gatwick, they've always been pretty reliable when I've used them.

 

indeed if we get a decent kick off i might fly with them.

 

Looks like £122 return (Travelling down on the Sat and back on the Sun or Mon).

May have to drive it, but thanks for info anyway.

I am likley to drive as well and will stay for one or two nights depending on what day we play - we can always share a car - there is a couple of others two going from Brighton just chatting to them now about it so could get a car full and make it much cheaper?
