In fact wasn't one of the supposed issues with QSF's first coming that he didn't stick to the required fitness data but Gino turned a blind eye while results were good....? or was that one of the other 362 managers we've had in the last 6 years ?
Is it against the rules for us to put some kind of sticky substance on Grays boots so he can control the ball? Might look weird him running with the ball stuck to his foot granted but I feel he needs this.
Do they look fit. Did they look ready for the season. A big indication on being under prepared is niggling muscle injuries Should have read the rest of the thread before replying. Moog beat me to it
The odd thing about this is that many were not fussed about this competition but now we're out and a manager is honest enough to say couldn't give a stuff about it, we're all up in arms!
Can’t say I am bothered that we are out of the cup. What I am bothered about is I am not at all looking forward to watching the utter tripe QSF serves up in the next few home games.
If we get 8-10 points from the next 4 games, he's fine. If not, then it's just more of the same and we're doomed.
I know what you mean, I would rather we won on Saturday than stayed in the cup, but we could have at least said **** it put out a ****(er) team to see if any of the fringe players where any good. Also it was disappointing that the first game broadcast was so turgid (which is kind of unfair we looked alright at the back but **** up front)
