Costa Rica is a good team that plays quality football. Canada is traditionally a minnow but has been producing some good individual talents. This win is a huge result for them. Do I need to know what an AFC Watford is? Really?
20 000 Guatemala fans? In what is comparitavely a small stadium, in a match they have no hope in? Well done to them. The Home Depot Centre (no doubt named in the 19th century) looks alright hough, don't mind the look of that cafe/restaurant near the scoreboard
Fixed your post. It's a nice place though, really. Detractors call it "The Tool Box". Perfect size for what we need it for. 27,000 capacity. Guatemala played El Salvador and won. There were equal numbers of Guatemala and El Salvador fans there. The even was a doubleheader, ES/Guat. at noon then T&T/USA at 2pm. There were about 7,000 USA fans and about 1,000 Soca, but most of the Guat./ES fans stuck around to watch the US silently though a few switched shirts to US kit.
As it's a proper noun i'll allow it, but bear in mind this is an english forum, and your american speeling of OUR LANGUAGE will not be tolerated otherwise
Good spirited. There seems to be no main verb in this sentence, possible replacements are: It's good spirited or It's in good spirits but at present it doe snot register wiht me I am afraid
Gold Cup update: Honduras beat Mexico 2-1 I love this! For most of the countries in this tournament, this is the toppest top flight football they'll ever play, so they go all out. Mexico is extremely talented, but believe they will win games bu the simple fact of their attendance. They develop no chemistry, take little preparation and yet they fret like the world is coming to an end when they lose. I love to see their pride get crushed like this. It's only better when the US does it.
It is a good time when Mexico loses, every time they play us they make a big deal about how much of a better football country they are but they have not betten us on A Us pitch for years i don't remember how many.
