Fair enough, but I am only trying to take note of all possible deceptions by the Wolves to cause us to question things. If something doesn't look right then it rightly should always be brought into question, even if it turns out to be nonsense most of the time.

Thats the second message Skyla. I think you said it was the first. hence the confusion

    1 seer, 10 villagers, 3 wolves and a traitor.

Tom and I are confirmed good (unless you believe the Tinker theory).

So 4 evils amongst the 9 remaining players. Just under a 50% chance of hitting a baddy for the lynching.

Suggest we start naming a shortlist for the chop and see who starts trying to save who when names are in the frame.

Opti - barely posting and has just commented bland stuff
TonyCoton - commenting lots but mainly jokey responses to stuff
HH24 - very involved, correcting false assumptions
Ctulhu - very involved, also correcting things
Norway - reasonably involved, one post pointing at the rules about there being no Tinker but in a "sit on the fence" type way
Harrow Orn - reasonably involved, offering opinions
Moog - very involved, some theories and trying to move game along
Cassetti's Beard - reasonably involved but very interested in the code getting cracked
WfcWarehouse - reasonably involved but not really offering opinions, only agreed with one thing someone else said
Sinatra - forgot to play yesterday, one nothing comment today
Skyla - very involved, theories galore
Garbelia - one post yesterday just to say that had posted
Steve Harrow - no posts, seems to have forgotten to play

There will be at least one wolf hiding in the "reasonably involved, not saying much of note" camp which is TonyCoton, Norway, Cassetti's Beard and WfcWarehouse.

That's my shortlist for the noose tonight.

I still think Garbelia is a wolf, but happy to settle on one of your four named. CB or TCT for me based on nothing more than a hunch.

Agree with your overview, although I might add Opti to the “sus” list as he is usually a reasonably active player. I may just be bitter, though, about the fact that I think I guarded him in a previous game when he turned out to be the wolf!
Shame about Steve Harrow as, from memory, I think he is usually a decent player.

At the moment I’m torn between going with one of the names SLB has mentioned or voting one of the least active players off, taking the view that they are either trying to stay under the radar (agree with moog that the Alpha Wolf would not do this, but one of the other wolves might) or, if not, they’re not going to add anything for Team Good anyway.

Looks like three players didn't vote yesterday, Sinatra and Steve obviously two of them. Shame we can't see who the third was - anyone want to own up?

@domthehornet do you know the answer?

SLB is trying to lead the vote here. It may be just a genuine attempt to move the game forwards as it's been pretty plodding so far, but worth remembering in the future if those on his shortlist, such as myself, turn out to be innocent - which I've already said earlier I am.

For me, the codes in the messages mean nothing unless there's someone out there who is much cleverer than me who has it sussed. I really can't make my mind up on which message is the Seer, which is the Wolf.

Personally, I would've liked to have been more involved but my working week is panning out to be much busier than I anticipcated so apologies for that. I'm going to have some time after I finish today to re-read yesterday and todays threads.

OK, let's all go for warehouse, based on that.

  13. Cassetti's Beard.

Think we can rule out Steve Harrow as it seems all three wolves are active (two tried to kill otter and another killed Miked)

Dom did say he sent a PM to non-active players. Perhaps the no shows are generally busy or forgot to be involved. Even so, it's always a risk voting off one those players as we could be voting somebody from team good off. But when there is so little other options, it's difficult to argue a case against it.

  15. Cassetti's Beard.

    Cassetti's Beard. Academy Graduate

If they truly are inactive, then there's a very good chance they aren't evil as all three wolves were active during last nights killing - obviously there's a chance it's a bluff and they may pop in before 6 to post a message to avoid being killed by Dom for being inactive. For tonight I think we should avoid killing wfcsinatra, steve harrow and Garbelia as they will all be killed off anyway if they don't post.

  16. Harrow Orn

    Harrow Orn Squad Player

I'm voting for whoever has posted a lot without actually saying anything in the process.

Someone appearing to be busy, but scared to ruffle any feathers.

A couple? All three - you’ve struck gold! Joking apart, no not a deliberate response but I’m just wary of voting off any active players in favour of players contributing nothing. That said, if dom is culling inactives tonight, it would be a wasted vote anyway.

  26. SkylaRose

At this point it could be pointless voting off GarbeliaHornet for inactivity. If he/she is a wolf then surely they would of tried to be more active in the game (or as much as life would allow). We know two wolves know each other, so it's possible they could be striking from the shadows and not contributing much to stay hidden?

So for my two pennies worth I’m not sure what to make of the messages thus far. It seems a stretch for the seer to have found a tinker yesterday, but that has to happen at some point in all these games of werewolf.

I really don’t know who to vote for. It feels imperative that we get an evil player today, but we have nothing to go on. My gut would be to vote for a less active player, I realise that might include myself but I have been working both days so far.

It’s busy time for my equine department.

So what has changed? I'm assuming it's you who has voted for me - does that not also mean you're suspicious?

Unfortunately not, I've let you all down.

  30. wfcwarehouse

I stand corrected, it was Moog.

  31. wfcwarehouse

    wfcwarehouse First Team Captain

Moog's rash judgement to vote for me is strange, but I don't think he's wolf - he's a very experienced player who is very active in his gameplay, so I don't blame him for trying to get things moving.

Having looked back through, I think Cassetti's Beards behaviour is a little erratic. They were very quick to state their certainty that message one today was the seer. They also seem to be fixated on cracking the codes within the messages which I don't think is a worthwhile use of time. I'm happy to be corrected once the game is over but I can't see any sensible translation to them, so I think they're just there to muddy waters for whatever reason.

I think CB is my pick at the moment, unless I go for a random inactive player which would be a waste given Dom's clarification earlier.

    Harrow you thought warehouse earlier
SLB also has warehouse in you list of suspects

I dont see strong reasons put forward

Moog has now voted for him, god knows what that means because Moog is more trickstery than Baldricks's cunning fox

  33. wfcmoog

    wfcmoog Tinpot

I am honestly just more impulsive when there's nothing to go on.

I guess and pull the trigger. Everyone else guesses, second guesses, triple guesses and are still none the wiser. I'm just taking a shortcut.

  34. Cthulhu

fair enough probably equally as valid a method at this point

  35. wfcmoog

it's the nature of the game, is it not?

The only firm insight we get each day is from the two messages, both of which we've had for some time. Other than that, forensic examination of everyone's pattern of play from the past 2 days is very little to go on. Thin gruel indeed.

Warehouse seemed to try and accuse SLB, who is confirmed as good in my eyes, along with Tom. Plus he played very quietly until accused and suddenly stepped up. Is it a smoking gun? No. Will we find such evidence between now and 1800? unlikely. Am I likely to be distracted between now and then and forget to vote? That is entirely possi
