In all seriousness, why? Just why? He has a poor to, at best, an average goalscoring record in lesser leagues, hence being linked to Championship sides, and as mentioned by others is another big, immobile lump. He's also 27 so not exactly one for the future. Panic buy.

The one real positive about it is that it's direct competition for Deeney & Ighalo as a centre forward. Both need to up their game, especially Deeney. I think this could be a decent move. Looks a handful to deal with physically and would probably suit the Premiership. Not sure he's going to bang in 20 goals, but then as I said above, it should motivate Deeney and Ighalo to do that anyway.
I couldn't agree more Nath. We need someone with pace and guile to play off a big lump hold the ball target striker if we persist with 3-5-2.He's certainly not worth even half the reported transfer fee.
