The artist who painted the wonderful football history montage in the Vic Road End should update it. It would benefit greatly if it had a 'where's Wally' Mazzari for the kids to find. May I also suggest additionally a 'Where's our new striker'! COYHS

Ghezzal would have been a difficult to handle but he is a mini-Payet. Looks like Spurs, Palace and Italian clubs looking at Simeone and us going cold on Carrillo. Just hope and pray Richarlison gets his WP. The thought of us paying 15 million for Moreno has upset me because it will end just like the Gibbs bid.

 

Regarding Simeone could this be agent talk,trying to get Gino or others to up their bid?

 

Either way, I'd say we have little to no interest in Simeone. There's been nothing said about it since mid-June. We may hold an interest in Gibbs/Moreno... but I think that any interest in Carrillo, Ghezzal, Lemina, Simeone etc may have been and gone.

There is also another way to look at this, in that Silva quoted numbers but never gave any indication if that was in addition to the 4 already signed - it could have been '5 or 6' inclusive of them. Perhaps we aren't looking at bringing in as many more as some might think.

Yep, my mistake. I thought it may have been a case of him being ambiguous but I've just read what he said back.

 

There was also the air of desperation which 5-6 would bring but 1-2 wouldn't !
