Deeney has literally come back 25 stone. It was on an Instagram story which I can't post so you'll have to believe me.

I agree. And even if he is currently 'unfit' - isn't this one of the things that pre-season is for??

From these two images, he appears the same to me as he looked last season. And lets not forget - other than missing the start due to an operation, he was never injured (unlike most of the others). Playing with a knock at West Ham is about the only occasion I can recall where he wasn't fully fit.

Britos is also there, but still no sign of Prodl, Okaka or Zeegelaar.

 

Zeegelaar was in the background of one of the earlier videos. Prodl appears to be in Mykonos from his Instagram, doing some training and a spot of clubbing (suggests it's his last night tonight). Seems a bit weird given that he wasn't involved in the World Cup. Unless he's had some surgery over the summer or something and is behind on recovery. Speaking of which, didn't Okaka have an operation too at the end of last season?

 

If the balls are out, then maybe they should get Holebas to design the training wear.

I am under pressure to change my usual match-watching routine (sofa, lucky underpants, blinds drawn, bottle of red) and go to a pub on Wednesday. What excuse can I use to get out of it?

 

You can't just switch channels and pretend the match isn't happening when we go 2 goals down after 17 minutes.
You don't want to be surrounded by drunk lowflife pretending they are and have always been passionately supportive england fans.

 

You don't need an excuse, take control of your life and do what you would prefer, instead of trying to please everone else.
