I thought we might be close to an upset here with a decimated City squad.

Instead their line up is stronger. We’re going to get massacred.

 

I'm going to pretend today never happened and should therefore be in a good mood tomorrow

I have finally found something to be positive about tonight. We won't have to fear losing a lead in the final few minutes.

 

Although Okaka is a big lad, he's never struck me as the most robust of people. I could imagine that Cleverly might be run down and gone down with one of the many bugs and viruses that are floating around Hertfordshire... How can De Bruyne be so badly injured and then fine 2 days later? If only our players were like that...

 

Really, really don't understand why Richy is playing. On the face of it, it would appear to be one of the most pointless games we've ever taken part in, and he's absolutely crying out for a break. If we aren't going to give him the time now, when exactly are we? We'll only be spiting our own face if we mismanage him and it leads to an injury or a breakdown further down the line, when points are in shorter overall supply and there's no further transfer window, should the worst occur.

 

We lost what was left of our dignity on Saturday.

We literally have nothing more to lose tonight. For me, even losing by double figures tonight won't hurt as much a Swansea and Palarse did.

 

Capoue might be okay, I can see him being one of those Adebayor type players who only shows up when teams start looking at signings in January.

I imagine Saturday is the window of opportunity for a rest. Don't forget one of the many carrots we dangle to young promising players like him is the chance to play at full stadiums like the Etihad.

Might aswell get it in early.....

 

If we don't get thumped too hard (under 5) and Spurs win and the other games end in draws, it won't actually be too bad

 

Remarkably we will still be 10th after this round of fixtures.
