Not sure. Perhaps took a slight knock? Or it could be TC's gameplan to bring him on second half instead of Raj perhaps.
Why are we persevering with Lewis? Not only is he a bottle job, but he's someone else's player. Now the season is over, why not develop our own left back and get more games under his belt ahead of next year?
Looks like some kind of 3-4-3, interesting that Dennis isn't picked yet Rajovic still can't get a game
Bachmann playing well it seems, let's hope it's not in vain like a few of his better performances this season
Decent result that. 4 draws against higher league opponents not bad at all. Not sure why we didn’t try and score from the last corner mind.
A great point, back three were immense especially Pollock I thought. Nearly won it right at the death. Super Tom!!
Got in for the second half, we played some decent stuff in the first half of the second half, they were on top in the latter stages but we looked pretty comfortable. Only slight quibble would be that we didn't show more ambition from that final corner after Kayembe's astonishing lump up the field, but, ya know, our corners are ***** anyway!
Can't complain about a point at Portman Road, although I really don't think Ipswich are anything special despite their position. It's funny how many people on here were bricking our run in of fixtures. We've gone toe to toe with the best this league has to offer over the last 5 games and haven't lost. Plenty to build on for next season.
Not a bad point but I am fuming that corner wasn't put in the box right at the end there - we had everyone forwards, Ipswich weren't defending properly, and it would have been basically the last kick of the game. A chance to nick all 3 points just given away for nothing.
Decent result and after Bachmann made some good saves we were certainly in the game 2nd half . Almost nicked a win too !
That's, overall, a very credible draw from Cleverley's Watford side. Only side bar QPR to keep Ipswich out at their place, with a fortunate thump off the post and an excellent Bachmann save seeing out the best Ipswich could give. We were 2nd best in the first half as it went on but the 2nd half was a reasonably comfortable display which limited them to mostly half chances.
Did I see that right did we keep the ball in the corner when we had a corner at 0-0 with seconds to go and nothing to play for?
Beat a very decent Coventry side last night, but I'm definitely not scared of Southampton who have been very mediocre of late. Another tick in the box for Cleverley I think that
Definitely more organised but no attacking threat. Back three looked good, pollock particularly.DB good in goal, TDB wasn’t getting it together, chak good in first half and then went quiet , Not a fan of Dennis , to be fair he didnt get long to play , but came on ****ed a nutmeg , then slipped over, then gave a way a fowl in a dangerous position. With Bayo and Rayovic i feel we have two players that want to play (but don’t have the needed quality), with Dennis I feel we have a player with the quality that doesn’t really care.
Big draw bonus obviously. Thought we did ok. Would like to have a bit more composure playing it out, lots of head tennis but nobody in yellow bringing it down. Started the 2nd half making a catalog of Sunday league unforced errors. I counted 7 in 10 minutes. If that Kayembe shot had gone in...
If they'd have scored we could have lost. As they didn't I felt we were going to get at least a draw. #PositiveThinking
I am not sure that is an accurate assessment of ED, when he has played he hasn't always looked sharp but I don't think he has had a lack of effort. I am not sure it is even worth mentioning Dennis's performance tonight, he come on after 86 minutes when all we were doing was hoofing the ball up the pitch at every opportunity. He was unlucky with the slip as Kone played a poor pass behind him and he was trying to quickly change direction.
