I don't think the majority of our better players will leave. I reckon Demerit/Ellington/Shittu are all but confirmed but apart from that I reckon we'll be able to keep our first team squad intact (whilst raising additional funds from the sales/releases of reserve players). I think this season will be the making of Aidy, I really do, as he'll have to wheel and deal to get people in. Also it'll be interesting to see if the alarming form of the last months of the season continues. If this 'prospective' takeover does come about, and the buyer is willing to release funds we will once again have a sizeable amount of money. I don't think Heidar is the answer, still. If Coventry are after him surely that suggests we should be aiming higher? No disrespect to Coventry but we're a better club than them and we have more promotion credentials than them. I reckon getting a youngster in from a Prem club would be a good move - it would certainly fit in with Aidy's hypothesis of playing youth.
