Sorry which one? If the one i posted then no. Ive probably confused matters here because i hadnt noticed Warrington's post before mine. Perhaps best we quote the one we are guessing.
You clue helped. One team has striped shirts and thinking of teams that have recently had a new ground I guessed Saints!
Well done, a memorial for Hillsborough. I've been there quite recently but I would never have got it from the photo.
Ok did a bit of detective work on this one. When zooming the pic again i noticed many of those squat type chimneys.. which i now know to be called 'bottle kilns' I'd always associated those with the Potteries area so checked Stoke City.. but they moved into the Victoria Ground as far back as 1878 and i didnt find any pics that fitted. So tried Port Vale and bingo! The Old Recreation Ground. I also then found a few more pics. This one apparently.. https://i.pinimg.com/736x/33/84/94/338494f9275da274d065694ec6fc4ff9.jpg and this of the demolition.. http://i2.stokesentinel.co.uk/incoming/article462429.ece/ALTERNATES/s615/Port-Vale-demolition.png showing the "pyramid" which i take it is actually a slag heap. Finally this one showing that the ground was used as a car park after closure in 1950.. http://www.footballsite.co.uk/Images/Photos/Port Vales former ground - The Old Recreation Ground.jpg right up until the 1980's.
At first glance, I thought it may have been L*t*n (The Bobbers & Kenny Road end). I sat in that stand at Tranmere in 78/9 so the view was recognisable
Looking our complete FA cup record i narrowed it down to three Southern clubs we have played once away. Bournemouth & Boscombe Athletic- though they come under AFC Bournemouth, Poole Town- though they played at the oval shape speedway stadium when we played them.. and Newport (Isle of Wight) who's ground is in a rural setting. So i guess i must have missed one.
It is Newport (Isle of Wight) old ground - Church Litten. They now play at St George's Park on the edge of town
I was going to put a picture up of Poole Town's ground next, but you obviously know what it looks like. I believe our FA Cup Replay there in the early 60's was a record gate for them - 11,155.
So i got it without really knowing Here's one of mine.. not sure if this is dead easy or a bit difficult. We shall see.
I'm awful at this game, and haven't got any of them thus far, but the colours and style reminds me of Molineaux.
