I would love to visit Canada at some point (but can’t think of anything worse than hiking 850km :) )

two things I would love to see are Churchill in polar bear season and some of the places where twin peaks was filmed (i know it set on the USA / Canada border , but believe that a lot of it was filmed in Canada)

Do you get the northern lights up there as well ?

Stanley takes the Cummings road claiming ‘he didn’t know the rules on masks’. This lot like their arrogance blatant.

So where is the photo of Corbyn at a dinner party with NINE people then?

Post it, sounds a bad thing for him to do.

Ok, seen it now. Very stupid thing to do. Thankfully he is no longer Labour leader.

I hope you will have a similar condemnation for Stanley.

Oh wait, here comes another forelock tugging apologist.

Stanley Johnson puts himself out there as a representative of his son and when caught out, Cummings like, can’t simply apologise.

It’s a story, get over it!

When has Boris ever suggested that Stanley represents him? And as far as I know, Stanley has only ever claimed to be Boris's father, not his representative. Stanley isn't even a politician and campaigned against brexit, opposing Boris's campaign.
What do you mean, get over it! It's a pathetic non-story, which only you and your fellow desperate lefties seem to be excited about. Get over yourself, and calm down. :D

If you want to start of down this pathetic trail, then I would suggest to start telling Labour to apologise for Corbyn's brother Pier's idiocy.

It’s not a pathetic story anymore than Corbyn’s is. We currently have rules that are a mess, that ordinary people are struggling to implement and are suffering to implement. We then find that rich, famous and notable figures like Corbyn and S Johnson ignore them.

Stanley’s inability to even recognise his son’s rules (telling a big Cummings shaped lie) is a story and your reaction should be that it is bad.

What would rich Tories need to do to get your disapproval?

Really, what on earth are you talking about? Of course I condemn anyone for breaking the rules, including any old man, Tory or not. Unlike you who have spent all week defending students who boast how they couldn't care less about the rules and want to party before it's too late!.

    Try a little perspective, Moose!

And I think that Corbyn proudly posing in a clear breach of the rules, is a little bit different from a passer by taking a quick snap of Johnson nipping in to get a paper. One shows clear planning to break the rules with a dinner party, and proudly demonstrating it, whilst the latter was a bloke with a minor breach.

But, they both have apologised, get over it.

A classic of your genre. I’ve apparently been defending students ‘all week’ (hmmn how many days makes all week now, one?). But yes I do defend most of them.

You condemn ‘anyone’ and yet don’t explicitly condemn S Johnson or acknowledge his lie. So in this context that’s support and you know it.

    Let’s leave it at that.

I condemn Stanley, I've been quite clear. No hypocrisy from me, Moose, now take a look in the mirror (not the Daily Mirror) and see if you think that Stanley's crime (popping in the paper shop) is as potential serious as the thousands of students that you defend for their partying.

Sigh. I'm not defending students who party. I'm simply saying most don't and having been to a campus recently it was very orderly. Not sure why they all need to be condemned/punished as a group.

I've fixed your post for you, because you don't need to caveat it unless you deliberately wish to weaken your message.

Stanley Johnson says that when he was caught without a mask it was his first day back in the country after being abroad. Assume he was visiting a country exempt from the self-isolation rule?

Just saw a young couple in front of us in a queue at a restaurant, for lunch in town.

He gave a name as ID, then his mobile number. She says, "No, that's wrong, you got the last two numbers wrong".

"Oh", he says, "Sorry, I got the last two numbers round the wrong way."

Off they went to their table, with him looking like thunder, kicking her ankles!
