I think it's all gotten a bit out of hand, the last thing we want is for people to leave, regardless of their value as a poster. It's a shame that people have felt like they don't want to post here anymore, but as mentioned before, the ignore button is there for a reason, although in all honesty i think that it shouldn't ever be needed. In every walk of life there are personality clashes, the internet is no different and whatever happens there will always be characters that don't get along, but rather than continuously dig at each other, why not just ignore each other and forget about it, either that or issue the most killer of all insults that will force your opponent to leave with their tail between their legs.
Good post. In a way that's what happened though, one person walked away, the other couldn't swallow their pride and leave it.
I've not seen the whole incident just pieced bits together from this thread and others. Seems things have been taken too seriously when perhaps comments were just a bit tongue in cheek? What i will say is, there seems to have been a rising number of arguments often involving the same people with the same thing being said time and time again, maybe a few people should change the record, remember what a good thing we've got here and get back to talking about the reason we're here in the 1st place, i.e. WATFORD FC!
Tongue in cheek gets mixed up very easy at the moment. Its an internet forum, so you can't really tell when tongue and cheek comments are said unless theres a smiley. The only ones which were really used as the green laughing one. It probably is being blown out of proportion. People just need to be careful, and perhaps only use tongue in cheek comments when they really know the person. Still like the way someone gets banned for making someone leave, then the same thing happens and hardly anything happens, seems similar to the thread which was deleted recently on the rules being different for others. Just my opinion though.
You would think that this forum was big enough for everyone. There are so many different rooms that even if you didn't want to add someone to your Ignore list you could easily avoid them. Anyway, I never go in the arcade so say hello to Bubble and I'm very relieved he hasn't run off with Liz Hurley, no-one deserves that.
Some sensible posts above (previous page, post is out of sync afanof nipped in and that does not mean the above is not sensible .) Perception is a very strange thing at the best of times and typing messages makes it even more of a lottery, many things are often interpreted the wrong way.
Have to agree with everything you've just said, but lets not forget how hard admin's job is. Everybody has personal preferences and stopping them interfering with judgement is hard, whatever situation your in.
Bubble is fine, working hard. He will be at Plymuff along with a few other South Coast Orns. He was delighted West Sham lost.

I often look for a tongue in cheek smiley but there isn't one. I tend to use the 'rolls eyes' as the closest thing. And I use it a lot! Glad to hear it!
Rules are rules, the general census is that you were the final straw, and have attempted it loads of times. You can't just get exempt from it.
I don't know what happened but seeing as though Paddy is generally up for a bit of banter I guess something was misinterpreted on one or other side. If he has left it's a shame because he's a good poster and like Cudey said, could get a good debate going. Glad to hear Bubble shares my sentiments concerning the Spanners ;D
Cude you cant blame chewitt for paddy leaving there was not alot chewitt actually said to paddy. I think paddy has got worked up about something when he should not of, and im sure he will be back.
As you said earlier Andy, its probably a build up of things. He was part of it as discussed earlier. I am also in opinion that chewy does go at people far to much, i ain't got a problem with him at all. But i bet he probably makes others feel unwelcome. Before anyone calls me a hypocrit, i know i am having ago, but i thought i would express my opinion.
