Now you are imaging things. Look back through my posts today. As you will see if you could be bothered to look back i haven't said that. On the now closed Chewitt / PYA thread that has been removed I stated some points relating to PYA etc.
its that comic touch and blatant disregard for intellectual property and ethics which makes me such an amazing radio personality!
A lot of people have been very silly today. I think people should remember what the alternatives out there are before posting.
basically, i've been amazing and everyone else has been trying to steal my thunder by doing outrageous things!
PYA has left the boards, had enough of a few people. He made a point about several members posting rubbish to get there orns count up and then gloating about there wealth and generally making an issue out of it. he has let the powers that be know his reasons as to why.
Obviously refering to me which is odd as i'd expect someone like PYA to recognise banter/tongue in cheek comments when he sees them. There's always the ignore feature if it's so much of an issue (which for some reason it obviously is).
wh yleave the forum, instead of just getting on with it? theres an ignore list and he is welcome to use it. i dont understand why people suddenly leave permanantly and make a fuss of it.
No one knows who Fowler is here, so he won't help. He won't get paid what Beck's can get so i don't know why he'd want to come. On the other hand Zidane might work here, and there is talk of him going to Chicago, poor sod. I want US teams to look at the very skilled relatively underpaid kids in Argentina, Brazil and Costa Rica to expand the quality of the rosters. The best thing that could be done is to raise the minimum salary from $9,000/year to something like $75,000/year, and then bring back form Denmark and Norway and the German 2nd division all the guys who fled to get paid better. it is odd he'd take such objection to people posting rubbish alot. so what if they do it to brag about orns? its just one of those things which for no obvious reason (to me at least) should bother anyone.
I saw that post he made and did not want to rock the boat but i will defend myself. He thinks i posted rubbish to get loads of orns, he has made more then double the posts i have and alot of them are rubbish example there was a thread about the bill so he started one about bob pure spam. As for gloating about my wealth why not im top of the rich list. I know paddy is a god like figure on here, but he need to chill and not overreact.
Thats a big pill, i'd say it's certain to fail, by the time somebody has consumed the entire pill, we'll have our 1st internet murder on our hands. Back to the drawing board i'd say.
To be honest, don't think he over reacted at all. He didn't even say anything to start with directly at any individual. Just quoted that the bookie wasn't important and it was a little bit of fun. Don't see why comments were said after that. He didn't like it so he walked away, fair play to him, its a shame though, as he is one of only a few who when wanted can post a decent debate i feel.
