Did his dad actually die then?

When Heidar left it was understandable because he was getting on a bit, had played his socks off for years and was in a team that clearly had no chance in hell of getting promoted.

Hameur has had half a good season here, is young, has plenty of time, and is in a team that are quite likely to go up. So he owes us another season really.

It does seem that its all the agent's doing, as it so often is. But if any club is crazy enough to offer £5mil for him, I would take it without hesitation.

His father hasnt died. Well on Watford World interview couple weeks back he said he was alive / on the mend / out of hopsital or something.

Remember folks this is his agent talking and they don't earn unless they are earning for their man. So IF he can place him somewhere else then he's on big bucks.
That apart though I have to say that at 5 million I'd feel inclined to rip their arms off. We could then keep Macca, look at making it worth Hendersons while not to think about migrating to black pudding country, and bring in someone like Fryatt who would be handy for the longer term picture and a very useful squad member.
Purely personal but I think Boozer, or his agent has a very inflated idea of his value and although he turned in some good performances, these were not frequent enough to justify a 5 mio price tag.

Especially as he is likely to languish on the fringes of a team in the Prem, before moving on after a couple of seasons. He'd be far better off seeing if he can play a part in getting us back up there and then making a decision in January, but his agent wants a cut NOW!

As for Watford being a selling club, there is little point in selling when you are unable to replace the departing players. Even with all the money in the world, players do not seem to want to come here.

Totally agree with this. With a very average player in my opinion, Nugent moving for 6 million, it shows that if you perform well in the champinship nowadays, clubs will still pay big money for you still and obviously give good wages.

I don't care if he is unsettled, he must stay till Jan at least and then he can leave then. I would also tell him he must put in a transfer request if he does actually want to leave otherwise him and his agent would get a nice big cut of any potential fee as a pay off like Joey Barton tried to get.

Not sure what dealings you have had but having met GS on two or three occassions I have always found him a very likable person. Comes over as a real supporter first and chairman second.
To say he dosent care is a load of tosh and can only assume that you didnt get what you wanted from him when you had your "dealings" with him.

Never mind the £5mill price tag, do not sell Bouazza for any price, what's the point in having the money when Helguson and Campbell have just publicly snubbed us and proved that we cannot attract players.
We could have a healthy bank balance and a **** poor team or a less healthy bank balance and a squad with the potential to get promoted, I know which the supporters are in favour of.
If Bouazza wants to play in the premiership then he should play his balls off and get promoted with us.
This is what you should be telling him, not "you can go for a price".

    Dear Phil,

    Thank you for your email.

Hameur is currently away with the team on pre-season tour and is looking forward to the season ahead with his team mates. All are training hard and looking forward to challenging for a place back in the Premiership.

I hope you enjoy the coming season.

    Best Wishes,

Thanks for your very swift response, I'm aware Hamour is in Germany, however I'm also aware when a club say"every player has a price" and then give a valuation, that is footballing speak for "brace yourselves for his departure" please tell me outright that he is not going anywhere.

    Dear Phil,

I’m afraid that I can not guarantee the movements of any player.

When a player remains at or moves from a club it is the decision of the management and the player themselves. Football is an ever changing business and sometimes players move on.

At present Hameur is a Watford player and hopefully will be for a while yet.

I hope you enjoy the season ahead.

    Best Wishes,

I think it's a bit much asking Helen Dodman to provide guarantee's that Hameur won't leave. You'd probably be better off emailing Aidy.

Contact us @ etc. on the official site

I agree it's a long shot asking her, but as the official contact point for the club, I actually hoped there may be some sort of stance, I'm hoping that my mail dosen't end there, as it is I got a politicians answer, ie lots of words and no real information. I still believe the more people that mail the club, then the more aware of the "don't sell him" opinion the fans have.

I really don't know what you are expecting her to say? I think you have to be realistic about it, if the right offer comes along then Bouazza will go and I'm sure you will find a division even amongst us fans as to whether he should go or not (if the price is right).

I think Bouazza is far too inconsistent to be able to turn down a 5 mill plus offer and providing the money is well spent then I would be happy with this.

Of course, the key thing is that the right players need to be brought in and that won't be easy. Come the start of the season will be the time to judge the decisions Aidy has made.

Do you realy think that the club won't sell Hammeur if they receive a few e-mails saying "Please Stay". Come on.....

For me, the buck stops with the FA to bring in a wage cap and even out the playing field.

I don't care what you all say, Boozer will be on about £7k a week, which is a huge amount of money.

No footballer in the CCC 'needs' higher wages. Boozer should be told to sit down and shut up.

He's on contract, so stop ****ing complaining and do your job.

Silly money is £10m, not 5.
