Well if we sacked him having just given the guy a 3 year contract we won't be able to afford anyone else of the experience you might want from our next manager..

Despite not being very cohesive, we still created a number of chances - even at 2-0 with 20 minutes to go, you felt one goal would have them rocking.

Have no idea why the goal that Scott fumbled into his own net was ruled out, very fortunate - and the shot that smacked the bar near the end was an awesome strike - Cov definitely deserved the points. I couldn't work out why Malky ripped into ther officials at the end, we were the cause of our own downfall.

Good support from our contingent. Don't give up all hope just yet!

    One plus point for Coventry....

They open up the doors at the back of the stand at half time and give you a little area outside for a beer and a ciggie... great idea!!

I dont think the break helped. We had got out of a slump and started to play well again but a week off makes a difference.

I know its only Twitter but both Graham and Loach have admitted they/we were poor etc which is honest enough from the players.

Sometimes you can get them hiding behind the "positive"

Also Andy W suggests he'd like to stay with us "given the chance"

Sounds like defensive wise we missed Mariappa..and Doyley.

The first goal was always going to win it yesterday and despite having the opportunities, we didn't take any of them. Still a cracking day out and the casino under the ground is a great place for a few beers before and after the game. Playing roulette after a few pints is a bad idea though...

Loach had a poor game, but it probably wasn't easy playing behind a very young and makeshift back four - though they will all be better for it I think. Whichelow was poor for me. It is a big pitch and there was a lot of space which we didn't use, it was perfect for the likes of Whichelow. They seemed to contain us very well and kept us playing very narrow. We had no real flair or creativity, which you can normally bank on from Whichelow/Cowie/Buckley but it just didn't happen.

Danny Drinkwater is utterly useless. When we were one nil down he receives a throw, and instead of tapping it back he done two keepy uppies and tried playing it back blindly and it went straight out for a throw. He is simply awful. The other thing that was awful was the ginger lad in front of me in the blue/green polo shirt. If you read this, then feel free to claim the money from me for a can of deodorant you smelly little rat. But I can't mock him too much as he is the only loyal fan we have, as per the endless chants of 'where were you at Middlersbra'...********.

Poor result, cracking away day. Cov will stay up and we won't make the play offs.

Also, it is interesting to see Princess Marv is now fourth choice striker. All the bollox in the other thread about his lazy style being refreshing or whatever it is has got him dropped from the team.
