Whilst it wiles away the hours til the next game, I do think its a waste of time trying to preduct future results. The last 10 games have shown it's almost impossible to predict any result other than those against Liverpool and MC.
I think I would move Leicester to the might win and United, Arsenal and Chelsea to the unlikely to win considering they are all away from home
And they'll be playing their reserves in the league once Liverpool have won the title so expect teams to pick up points against them towards the end of the season
Yes but only if they are still in the champions league. Otherwise they will still play their best 11 in pursuit of various records, though the intensity may have dropped a little....
Once Liverpool have won the league, they'll be going for the 'Unbeatable' title. Let's hope they remain unbeaten for the rest of the campaign, unless we beat them of course, so they have a reason the remain strong for the entire season.
I don't think they'll give a stuff about going unbeaten in the league if they're going for the Champions League
Oh i absolutely think they will be interested in finishing unbeaten and all creating an uncatchable all time ponts record, even more so if they are out of the Champs league.
Absolutely. They have a chance of making history this season, and these opportunities don't come along very often. I think they'll be very interested in creating something that will be virtually impossible to beat. They'll have the bragging rights over all rivals for years to come, and to go unbeaten to join an elusive club of two. Preston and Arsenal. I've checked and the most points in the Premier League is 100 for Man City a couple of seasons ago. The most points total EVER is 106 by Reading in the Championship 15 years ago, and that was over 46 matches. Liverpool are on course to smash that record. Currently on target for 112 points, although they could possibly drop a few points here and there, 11 more wins will give them 100 points. 15 games remaining, so there is plenty to play for to get these records and they have to be pretty much perfect to achieve it. I can't see any letting up in the league or Champions League. Mentally they've written off the FA Cup now, and it's the domestic cups they've sacrificed this season.
They can win the league in 9 games - luckily for us whilst they play us Liverpool also face West Ham and Bournemouth in that period whist Villa is in early April. The game they might ease off in is Brighton away.. As it stands Liverpool could win the title at Everton or Man City! Talk about potentially rubbing your nose in it..
My gut feeling is this will be a 0-0 bore draw. Given their injuries they don't seem to have many players who can hurt us too badly. I rate bernard and I suppose sigurdsson could lash one in from distance but apart from that, there's not much there.
I agree with this: Getting 40 points is possible, but not probable. I would say 40 points would probably be enough, but not definitely. We will just have to wait until the end of the season to see. Either way it looks as though it is going to go down to the wire
Possibly - it was a very high level view. But only Man Utd of those three currently have any real home form. W - D - L Man Utd 6 - 4 - 2 Chelsea 5 - 3 - 4 Arsenal 4 - 5 - 3
It's been a recent theme. Losing to Tranmere, about to play Everton and the Liverpool match up very soon, it's natural to speak about it. Personally, talking about other clubs takes my mind off the ****fest that is our season.
Quiz question in years to come: Which side played against all 3 Merseyside clubs in the same season and failed to beat any of them?
Or... During 2020 which side played against all three Merseyside clubs in under 40 days beating Liverpool, drawing with Everton and losing to Tranmere.
Alison Robertson, best defender ever, Gomez, Trenty Lallana, Hendo, Gigi W. Salah, Firmy, Mane. We'll be 40 points ahead of the bluenose ***** when lose at tinpot watford.
I got a box of man sized liverpool tissues for xmas. Awesome to be able to use them so soon YNWA. 'You'll never w*** alone'
‘Twas ever thus. In our first sojourn in the top division for six seasons in the 80s we famously lost all 12 league games on Merseyside with an aggregate of 33 goals to 8. To this day only one win up there, thanks to Sir Thomas.
Utterly dreadful referee for this game. Craig Poorson. Jon Toss on VAR. We're fooked. https://www.watfordobserver.co.uk/sport/18192330.craig-pawson-referee-watfords-game-everton/
I only let you off my ignore list during the transfer windows, because, quite frankly, you are a bit of a d1ck but you seem to be good at trawling the web for WFC related transfer stories. Are you The Jeck from the WFC Reddit?
