Must be Malaka Week on the forum.

Bobby P set the pace on his IG of the brooding & georgeous Ms Holebas.

I read on the excellent write up about the fans forum event that the club thought they would rather come 7th than win the Cup which surprised me as the latter would mean getting into Europe at a later stage without the endless qualifying round.

8th and win the cup is much better than 7th and lose the final. Even from a financial perspective. 7th might not even be a European spot anyway.

However 7th does not necessarily require beating citeh (or whoever beats citeh in coop)

No. They said they'd rather finish 7th and qualify for Europe than get to the final. As we'd probably lose.

Is someone going to make a post about architecture in Shepherd's Bush or, being Prem Billy Big Boots, are we just waiting for the QF round?

I thought the question was get to the final or finish 7th. It’s a pretty different scenario for as mentioned it could be Man City in the final.

The woman (lady) shown in the video is not Isobel Barnet, but Joyce Grenfell. Lady Barnett was on the What's My Line panel amongst others.

    My Dad told me this.

    He's right!
    I like Joyce Grenfell too!
    "George,don't do that".
One of my 'Tiny Toes' tots tomorrow is named George. I often say it and chuckle. No one else has a clue but it keeps me half sane.

    Surely, grandfather.

IBB, with the dexterity of an Andre Gray shimmy, had actually moved the focus of debate onto Joseph Cooper.

Any Grenfells are, on this occasion, incidental.

I've got this niggling feeling in the back of my mind that it's going to be a Watford v Palace Wembley reunion in the semi final!

Chris Sutton is an utter buffoon. "Can Watford win the FA Cup?" Chris Sutton: "No. But I wonder if Watford got to the final they still wouldn't play their first team goalkeeper?"
Thanks for your insight Chris zzzzzzzzzz

    Not the tots,no.
I thought it may frighten them as they are wee.
The club children have either seen him 'in the skin' or on social thingy.
    Oh dear!
I have quite liked listening to him on occasions but it seems he can't bear to be proved wrong or is just an arse?
    Or both?!

It's that time those fans that don't care about the cup and wanted to concentrate on finishing mid-table will all be returning for the Quarters then!

    FA might be getting twitchy.

Little old Watford (and Brighton) in the 1/4 finals along with Millwall and their fans whilst Man City are getting a tough tie from Newport.

I was wondering if we could potentially set any records by winning the cup without playing a home game.. and without conceding a goal.
Well.. Man United have won the cup twice without playing at home. In 1948. They were drawn at home but because of bomb damage at OT played their "home" games at Maine Road. Also in 1990.. though they played the semi final & replay again at Maine Road.
Both Preston and Bury have won the Fa Cup without conceding.. but the last time was when Bury won it in 1903.

So if you are reading this lads the pressure is off to try attempting setting either record ;)

So no giant-killings at all in this round. All the remaining Prem teams are going through. Not the straightforward path I would have preferred!

Hopefully that galvanise JG to go full strength from now on.

Our good away form encourages me.

Apart from City & away to Utd/Chelsea, we should be competitive in any fixture.

Agree Palace and Brighton will be concerned that they don't drop into the last relegation spot, so may have one eye on that! Any home tie against anyone other that the two top six left in it and we have an excellent chance of a semi at Wembley, an away draw against the same we would take but slightly harder!

We've had quite a bit of practice at playing away recently.
