Its twitter so we will see how much truth is in any of it. As we've been interested in the player before and were rumored to have made an approach for a loan in Jan it could well just be a rehash of those stories. I saw else where that another Liverpool we were interested in was left back Luke Chambers, with Manga reportedly going to watch him play for Kilmarnock not so long ago - as if he wll get any say on who we eventually sign this season.
Damn, would be a good signing for them. I wanted us to sign him on loan last season and I'm not entirely sure why Pool didn't release him.
I suspect we'll end up being snubbed by a lot of PL clubs when it comes to loan moves for their brightest talent. No one is going to want to send a youngster to our crazy circus of ever changing head coaches.
Yeah but the flip side is we could be in prime position for 24 year old non scoring strikers with fitness issues!
I certainly wouldn’t have been averse to taking Ramsey, either last season or this. He’s a decent player. The only worry would be that he, like many other members of the Liverpool squad over the last couple of years, has tended to be quite injury prone. Interesting to see how he performs at Preston should that loan be confirmed.
You know damn well that being injury prone, and preferably completely crocked, is the desired attribute we look for when signing players.
On one hand its a shame, he seems like potentially a decent player. On the other hand I would rather we concentrate on other areas of the squad that are more in need of strengthening and given our injury record its probably a waste of a loan spot dodged.
