Not sure the original post was that strong. More an acknowledgement that they may not be quite as bad as some on here wanted to make out. As for **** - that depends on the benchmark, as I’ve stated before. I personally don’t think any of the four are ****, and at least two are pretty decent at this level, but I understand that others may have much higher standards for the average Championship player.
Morons? Have you not read the posts on here? They are experts on tactics, footballing ability, business and accounting.
This is from the BBC match report. Did they even watch the game ? I guess we should be grateful they at least got the Cleverly bit right.
Considering they called many of the changes a full match before our paid head coach, who's to say whose sarcasm is misplaced?
So do we sack the coach for incompetence or wonder why these fans don’t have highly paid jobs on football? Or both?
My favourite part of the Burnley game was Cleverley’s post-match interview on Sky when he was asked what it was like to score the winning goal on his birthday. “It’s what you dream about when you wake up in the morning.”
Remember when that guy from The 1881 came on here at the end of last season and said he was packing his kid off to summer school and would spend that time writing new, original songs for this season? The result seems to be another stolen effort from Liverpool/Rangers/City! Still, a stolen song giving an atmosphere is better than none at all! But it would be nice to come up with a truly original effort!
We could always raid the archives.....what about "Molly Malone" - wheeling her wheelbarra from Watford to Harra!
Have a look at this away end angle of Cleverleys goal at start of vid. Serious curl on that. Top strikers finish.
You say that, but put this to Leone’s classic. You have to modulate the L*%#n a bit, as in Looerwooerton, but it works and the message, though simple, is effective. L*%#n, they are ****, L*%#n, they are ****, L*%#n, they are ****, L*%#n, are ****.
This was the second time in a row that our third match of the season back in the Championship resulted in a 1-0 win at home with the goal being scored by a player celebrating his birthday. Last time it was JP as we beat Luton.
