Was slightly disappointed, for him only, that Sarr didn't get a hat-trick. Price on his head now at least €50m
There are so many others you could have chosen. Jimmy Tarbuck, Freddie Starr, Ken Dodd, Margi Clarke...
Well what a result, already had 1 text message from a Liverpool supporting friend telling me t0 **** off. Thought the whole team where superb today Deeney , I know he gets a lot of grief but he did what he does best, wind up the opposition and keeps our team on its toes. I know he missed what looked like a sitter but on the replay looked more like a really good save by Alison. The goal he did score was well taken. Gerry D , doesn’t pass when he should, misses a lot of shots, but is still great to watch him run at the defence. Really hope he isn’t too bad. Was worried when Bobby P came on but credit where due he put a shift in. Sarr is a pleasure to watch , he is so fast and skilled and he can actually score , no way we are keeping him. Doucs , back to his best. Capoue immense running all over the field haranguing Liverpool players. Hughes, thought he looked possessed picked up a lot of balls in mid field , especially liked it when he stamped on a Liverpool players foot Defence looked excellent (mostly) and to keep a clean sheet against Liverpool is something special. Cathcart is obviously the dependable part of our defence , but thought Masina looked fairly solid (shame I like Holebas but guess he has had his day). Femenia didn’t look as sharp as before his injury but was still solid. Kabs good ( apart from one clearance that he hoofed out for a corner by mistake), I kept waiting for the classic Kabs **** up but thankfully it never came. Foster, looked solid but wasn’t really troubled Big Nige , did well , I think it was particularly important that we kept pushing even when we where 3 up And we still have JP and Janmat to come back to the squad. We aren’t in the bottom 3, if we play like this we should stay up but who knows
Just played Russ Abbot's, 'Atmosphere' to my lady during my celebrations, she had never heard of it before, sad plip on great evening.
I hate to piss in everyone’s prosecco but... We beat the champions 3-0 and are the only team to beat them all season, but we still get relegated... Well, wouldn’t that be very Watfordy?
Yep, brother-in-law and a load of other friends/work colleagues twix the age of 40 -60. I'll give them a little smile.
Where did that come from! Easy to say I guess but Sarr with his pace made a real difference and the defence really were very very solid hardly giving Liverpool a chance. Outstanding from minute one. Shame for GD to get a nasty injury but overall a really encouraging and pleasing night.
This result will be seen by football fans/owners/investors etc all over the world. The club profile will be boosted like none other in recent times, much more so than the hype reaching the FA cup final last season. Pozzo is licking his lips tonight at the thought of all the potential Saudi/US/Chinese investment offers for a share/straight buy out of the club. Sarr is worth 60m tonight. Yet we could still very well be playing the likes of Millwall & QPR next season. That's what it's like supporting this club. From the sublime to the ridiculous. Dr Jekyll Watford you have thankfully showed the best version of yourself again tonight, I am proud of you, but being a Watford supporter, come what may, I have learned never to trust you as far as I can throw you.
This is probably the best performance since I started supporting Watford. Everyone was great. Sarr was obviously MOTM. But i have to say that Capoue, Hughes, Masina and Kabasele had their best games of the season. Even Deeney was almost faultless(that miss in the first half excluded) and Pereyra put in a shift as well. Happy times!
Other than Sarr, hard to choose a motm, Masina, Kabasele, Doucoure, Capoue all almost faultless. 4 or 5 others not far off
Not even. That Liverpool side were a shadow of this one and nowhere near them in terms of quality and reputation. Up until today our wins against "big" sides had been the odd, good, but unspectacular wins against a team in 4th-6th. We've never taken the best team in the country, arguably the continent, to the cleaners like this. Man Utd and Arsenal in their heyday - the closest we got was heroic losers. Here are a Liverpool team on the verge of creating unprecedented history and we humiliate them. Should have been 5 or 6.
What happened to languid Etienne Capoue? I had to double-take sometimes and make sure it really was him charging around at what seemed double his usual speed. What a performance! Full of determination and still at it in injury time at the end.

What the hell just happened ? In the context of what a great team Liverpool are, this was by far one of our greatest ever performances Immense - WOW
Sarr, what a player! If we think he’s good now, imagine what he’ll be like next season. For Liverpool.
I suppose Liverpool will be first on MOTD They always are, regardless of which no-hopers they're playing.
The majority of you “fans” who posted on pages 1 to 6 need to have a little look at yourselves. (My bet came in)
Who cares? **** them. I hate the self righteous ****s. The idea that we need their approval. Pile of shitbags. Hope they weep as they dip in our bins for our superior leavings.
my shameless attempt at likes has worked you fools! taiga chat open At 2220 initiate Watford drinking game. every time we beat the league leaders - have a drink. Every time we score have a drink Each time we stop the scousers getting a record of unbeaten league results have a drink
