I am not sure how Welbeck is going enhance our attacking options. How long will he last this time? He has a body made of glass. An ambulance will have its engine running outside..
The Villa game made me feel physically sick and it has taken a long time to recover. But I'm over it and I still believe. I hope the players and fans do too. Great game to start another run. Prediction Watford 9-2 Everton Gray (53, 56, 62, 68, 75, 78, 81, 89, 90+3); Richarlison (23, 45+1)
It will be like signing a new player. One that is totally rusty and off the pace, shows one or two good moments, but is ultimately ineffective.
We shall see at 5pm tomorrow if the Villa loss has sucked tge life from our side. Another lathargic performance will surely test patience levels of Pearson and fans alike.
If we were playing against a team that had a decent away record during any of the last six seasons with one that's conceded more than one goal in the last five home games, then yes, there would be a possibility of that.
Wot the gwamma polis don't need is a bloody lecture on the subject. The gwamma polis plough their own furrow ta. As for 'should of' it's simply plain wrong, meaningless and nonsensical. And as long as our principal female correspondent insists on using it out of banality, bloody-mindedness and sheer pig-ignorance (having had the error pointed out on any number of occasions) then the gwamma polis will continue to point it out to her (and others). Their patience is infinite on the subject.
Tough one this. We can definitely win it on our day and it has been our day more often than not recently, let's hope the Villa result provides some motivation. Think I would like Pussetto to get a go in this one, pace has really given us an advantage recently and I think he is quicker than Bobby P if not as acclimatised, let's see what he can do. I know he has been given a lot have grief recently but Bobby P is a class act and we are lucky to have him, but, he is not the quickest and the Sarr / Deulofeu speed combo has really looked dangerous in our upturn. Voted score draw but a win would be a biggy in our predicament. Bournemouth v Villa and Brighton v West Ham, not sure what to hope for here, two draws maybe?
Did you read the post he was responding to where it was quoted ? I suspect with the HB1 whoosh too, you may have just fallen into 2 traps in the space of a few posts
Liked for being the first post of substance that actually thinks we have a reasonable chance of winning!
My first post here, but I've been a fan of this forum for years. This is the lineup I'd like to see tomorrow. 3-1 win Deeney, Pussetto debut goal and Pereyra scores a goal after coming in around 70th minute for tired Pussetto. Richarlison to score for Everton.
