"You do the math" is an American expression that has no English equivalent. Just as Schadenfreude has no English equivalent because we'd never dream of taking pleasure from the misfortunes of any of our former owners or managers.
I can get by in Serbo-Croat. Did a course a few years ago as we often go to the former Yugoslavia on holidays. Most people over there are surprised when I speak a bit. No idea what's it's like compared to Russian. Mostly the same alphabet for Serbs and Russians.
100%. Hence, this is a game, which we must NOT LOSE. And indeed, SHOULD NOT DRAW. I don't really know how to describe it but really, it's a game that we are obliged to be victorious in.
Welcome to our forum SerbianHornet, ignore the many idiots on here and don't let them put you off posting what you want, just say what you want, most of us will welcome your input
Same team as vs Villa except Kabasele in and Dawson out due to Dawson's injury. I'm pretty happy with that although I wanted Pussetto to start. Nice to see Welbeck on the bench too.
Glad Kabasele is back in. Bench highlights our laughable lack of defenders, but at least we have options if we are chasing the game.
I see that Richarlison is starting for Everton. Also I think that Deeney will bully Holgate who came in instead of Keane.
Kabasele is a wind up merchant...he lives rent free in Richarlison's head...that's why I luurrrrvvvve him. That's why he's starting.
Before. Giraldi then looked at Prodl and was like, not on my watch, contract terminated, 3 CB’s are/is enough.
Would prefer Joao Pedro or even Penaranda on the bench ahead of Success, but it’s good to see Welbz and Hughes back.
Going through the 3 month foreign superstar induction programme. Due to make the bench again in April.
Bit weird rolling Prodl out to say farewell. "Thanks for the millions, suckers." Would surely have been more politic to sweep the whole affair under the carpet and move on.
Not imperative that we win today in terms of points, there are plenty more to play for. More important for our mentality going forward.
My view is that momentum is key. Another setback would/could set us back on our journey and might leave us needing to do too much, with too little wiggle room, plus show that we can't bounce back from adversity.
Not much unfortunately as I don't really watch Serbian league. But from the little I have seen from him at Vozdovac and Serbia youth teams he is really talented but still raw. I think he's still not ready for Premier League. He was wanted by Partizan and Red Star, two biggest clubs in Serbia, but he said that his ambition was to play in the Premier League.
Did Watford need a centre back in the window Glen? “Yes clearly, because they must be leaking far too many goals otherwise they wouldn’t be at the bottom.. we talked about it earlier, when you’re at the bottom it’s easy to get down and lose belief. They need to get the belief back and start winning games from today onwards” Basically completely oblivious that bar one bad result we’ve kept more clean sheets, had more wins and better form than pretty much everyone other than Liverpool since Pearson came in.
