It's going to cost the club way more in having to change the logo from everything anyway. Heck even the mic's they use in Added Time have the badge on them.

That new one is ugly, and looks like it looked nice at first then a person stamped on it and squeezed it.

Old one is fine. It stands out, is different and recongised. The whole change is obviously meant to incoperate our nickname into the badge, I get that. But, jesus. that new choice is awful.

73% of this forum currently want to keep the old badge, 7% don't care so I assume won't have voted.

I wonder how much of this site is the general consensus among the rest of the Watford FC fan voting public?!

Unfortunately even if this is the general fan voting consensus I fear it may not affect the outcome. If the objective was to retire moosey and incorporate a hornet, then keeping the current badge might be deemed as a failure. So the cynical side of me suspects the club will effectively keep 51% of the vote for themselves by sleight of hand weighting of the voting somehow? I hope I’m wrong.

P.S. Sad though that would be, there are more important things to worry about starting with 3 more points next Saturday!

I don't think the new badge is awful so wouldn't be a total disaster. It looks ok. Just prefer the current badge.

If we do need to rebrand but old badge wins then I'd be happy for them to keep current for another year and actually get a proper rebranding agency involved in creating the badge for the following season. It was a nice touch letting the fans get involved in the design and voting, but sometimes these things are best kept in house.

Never let a yew tree get anywhere near your arse - they’re poisonous with needle like leaves and will make you perspicacity.

If the new badge is voted in I feel sorry for anyone with a tattoo. I wonder if the club will pay to get it removed?

They won’t pay. But the medical team that oversaw Mazzarri’s reign are still on retainer and are happy to remove any limbs for free.

3 Separate polls i've seen have all been 70% + in favour of keeping it. I wonder if the club will reveal the whole vote? If the new one wins I think they'll have to or no-one will believe them. Although there would be nothing to have stopped them adding a load of fake people into the database who all voted how they wanted to...

As soon as the club have finished voting for the new badge with the 5000 new fan ids they set up. Long week ahead for the marketing team.

That's a minute's work at best for a remotely competent web developer.

Worry not, the marketing team will keep their weekend.

I mean they're going all out with the con proposing an extra 5,000 seats in the stadium for the supposed "new fans" we're suddenly getting!

Well played Pozzos! Well played indeed.

I read on a Facebook group, someone with supposedly inside knowledge is saying the moose survived.

t wouldn't be a huge surprise to me. However, I'm not convinced there is a huge fondness for the current badge but the new design was just not strong enough.

I thought this was a joke about the moose. The hart on the badge is in velvet, which then sheds before the antlers are seen.

It's a hart on the badge.

When is this disastrous event going to be put out of its misery? How long does it take to count a few votes? Incompetent terds at our club from top to bottom.
