GD absolutely infuriates me with the way he refuses to try to challenge for the ball in the air. When we play long balls over the top he always tries to spin the CB marking him. What this does is simply give the CB a free header. Which no PL CB is going to miss. Ever. I know he's only 5"7 but he'd win more aerial duels this way then giving them an unchallenged header. He cost us the goal tonight by doing the same in our own area, had a free header, ran under it then turned round and tried to control it. Lost the ball which then ended up in our net. ******* awful.
Desperately unlucky. How we managed to lose that game despite having a whole one shot on target in the match is beyond me. Our luck must turn soon.
We need to have training sessions on how to counter attack, attacking space and getting to a byeline. Much more solid at the back but QSF and his team need to get those drills in place sharpish. You need to score goals to win matches. Drawing 0-0 won't keep us up. Foulquier was a positive. And doesn't carry some of the baggage others do. Desperately disappointing not to see Dalby play instead of Gray. One of the worst performances from a Watford striker in many a year. He cannot play the sole striker role and he is an impact player. Surely QSF knows this ?

Sounds like a drab game without a lot of action and we didn't really go for it . Eveton upped the tempo for 5 minutes and scored on the counter at the end. Really do need to find a way to attack with purpose and score goals .
Thought Foulquier played well. The rest was very predictable. Difficult to see where the goals will come from. Regardless of the formation QSF will play, we currently have 0 ability to make the right choices in front of goal. Every single player just freezes when they get within sniffing distance,

QSF is a limited lazy complacent appointment from our lazy complacent owners. Our entire club is a disgrace. There isn’t much hope for the rebuild next season either as the utter clown Giraldi will be pulling the strings after numerous yes men head coaches get sacked. Utter utter shambles.

Why do we panic and play like 10 year olds when we cross the halfway line? Deulofeu being the kid that thinks he can dribble round everyone twice and score. Everton were there to be opened up and we messed up every single attack.
I'm not that upset about the result. Hard fought game, and defence was pretty solid again on the whole. But... I just can't shake the feeling that we're never going to score again. Ever. How is it going to happen? I literally can't even imaging a way in which this team will manage to score. Gutted that Quina joins the injury list. Chalobah looked a bit better than the last two games but seems to have lost awareness of nearby players, keeps getting caught in possession. Good to have Prodl back as an option. Foulquier isn't actually the worst player to ever pick up a professional football contract, contrary to our assumptions after his debut vs City. Doucoure still frustratingly short of form. Hughes at least had a bit of flair in his playmaking today. No combination of two out of Gray, Pereyra, Gerard seems to work. Tough to see what QSF can do to turn things round fast enough.

why are we being so judgemental on a game where we made more changes than them and had therefore little chance of winning anyway.
