Everyone seems to agree our central defenders are our worst players so why field 2 of your poorer players when you play can 3 of them and really make a statement of intent.
This isn’t pleasant but exactly what I asked for, keep it tight and don’t let stupid early goals in. They’ve had 314 passes but so what, they haven’t really done a great deal with it. I think this approach is spot on given our current predicament.

We kept a clean sheet. They didn't really have any chances, we had three absolutely gift wrapped ones. I understand us keeping it tight and just trying not to concede. Those are the positives at least.
Sell Doucs in January please. Don't blame the manager for this. He got a clean sheet out of our embarrassment of a defence. Not his fault they're too **** to get a goal.
Absolutely horrendous. I look forward to the "good point" crap, as we now head into our ninth game of the season without a win, having also just failed to beat a newly promoted team at home, who dominated possession against us, and in which we had 2 ****ing shots on target the entire game. Just pathetic. I despise this group of players. Useless, spineless s**t bags the lot of them.
They need to learn to pass, to shoot, to defend just the basics. More training these next two weeks. Kabasele and Pereyra played well. Two gilt edged chances wasted, Doucoure needs benching and I'd bring in the sports psychologist as well. They are shot of confidence. Janmaat also gifted the ball away today. Far too much lethargy and lack of effort from most. Sitting back and giving the Blades the advantage won't cut it as they will also be in the relegation battle. It was pretty cowardly if understandable but we won't score goals if we don't have the ball and the way things are going we will be lucky to hit thirty in the for column this season which spells one thing only. QSF at least has the next two weeks to sort things out as best as he can.
Pretty standard QSF performance, except without anyone resembling an in-form Ighalo to finish off the few chances we had. Shouldn't actually be too hard on Gray for his one though, more Pereyra, who delayed making the pass too long, then put it behind Gray (by which point he was probably offside). Still should have finished it mind. Doucoure and Cathcart were absolute garbage. Kabs our best defender. Shame Prodl had to be subbed. Pretty typical that Henderson gifted Liverpool a goal with their one shot on target last week, then makes a few good saves against us in this one. A clean sheet and a decent amount of effort is a minor improvement on some of our recent performances, but it's still not looking close to the level which will be required to keep us up.
Not really good enough . Missed 2 great chances though . Sarr straight down the tunnel with Doucoure . Says it all when a defender is MOTM.
The defence looked a lot better and we managed a clean sheet. They did their job, wasn't always pretty but they did what they had to do. Midfield was fine other than Doucoure, clearly doesn't want to be here. Bring in Chalobah or Quina. The strikers should be ******* ashamed of themselves, completely cost us the game and 3 vital points.

No way can anyone consider that a good result. Must be unprecedented for a team to survive without a win in their first 8 (soon to be 9, then 10) games.
