Incidentally, I'm worried about this game: WFC maybe feeling a bit fragile after Liverpoo, Lester counterattack with speed (sorry Filbert, you're just trying to lull us into a false sense of security) and that is just what Watford cannot cope with. Lester are a bag of Revels which have gone off a bit. New manager bounce, plus the guy may be a c*** but is quite a good coach. Possibly the most difficult prediction of the season.
It's called wholenut came in square lumps and without sunflower oil in it. since Kraft bought it, it's bloody horrible.
You say that, but people said the same about Troy "2 goals in one game and none were penalties" Deeney....
I don't know but it is nice to know you're never too old to still be surprised by a turn of events. I thought I was the only person left in the world who liked coffee-flavoured confectionary. Orange revels are just simply are non-negotiable "no"'.
Feeling slightly more confident about this one now as we can't defend as badly as we did two games running.
Glad you mentioned that in these days of Brex.t. Smarties - Good All other (imported, foreign) oblate spheroidal-disc brands of confectionery - Bad There, I said it.
I can’t believe no-one has mentioned crunchies! For that reason I’m off to reddit. This forum is a disgrace!
just reading the leicester forum to see whats up, and whaddayaknow, that absolute fist superhorns is on there fellating all the leicester forumites. Which one of your whoppers is responsible for this??
After the Anfield anialation we are back at the Vic for a tasty chocolate eclair affair to revel in the blue of the foxes. Old Watford part timer Rodgers takes the helm for his first full game as a non spectator and is bound to breed confidence into a Leicester side full of new boss bounce. Vardy almost always scores against us, our games vs Leicester have always been entertaining even in the Championship years. Hopefully the confidence isnt going fo be shot and Gracia had them up for a response in front of their own. Bobby P has been invisible so drop him for Quina and maybe start Gray with Deeney? It's my Birthday Sunday and im going so I hope tbey give us all a nice present to wash the Anfield taste away. Oh and @Filbert it's nice to bave a decent opposituon view so thank you. 2-1 Watford. We were Awful at their place.
Ruined a perfectly good gag too : At school, when the boys in the playground found out about my potentially fatal allergy to peanuts, they stood me against the wall and made me play Russian roulette with a bag of Revels....
Happy birthday for sunday. I remember my 11th birthday well. We played football over at yorke mead school playing field in croxley.
Hmm, the pixies that live in a far off land running the internet (I have to assume that's how technology works, right?) seem to have become a tad distracted by all this talk of chocolate and a further sideline into grammar discussions have pushed them over the edge. Had an "Alert" saying @The undeniable truth had quoted my post and it was, in fact, referring to this quote. So it seems @RookeryDad and I have morphed into one.
After the exhilaration and the anger/depression of the last week, I’m now a shivering wreck and as nervous as a nun in ann summers for this one. Could go either way and will take a 1-0 scratchy win. And PLEASE don’t show THAT penalty before the game.
My 11th birthday was the day of both semi finals in 1974 WC - West Germany v Poland, Brazil v Holland. Two games watched and footie played in the back garden in between. Happy days.
The other thing I hated about Rodgers appointment was we gave Malky Mackay 3 or 4 games as caretaker and they were exciting games where we got good results with flowing football, Rodgers changed everything about that for his first game and it was abysmal.
As a then Arsenal fan in north London, Arsenal won the FA cup to clinch the double on the day of my 8th birthday party in May 1971. My friends and I watched on my folks b&w TV with goal updates being shouted up the stairs. Same age Onion !!!! (almost sage & onion)
I'm thinking about moving to amersham. Is it as full of wife-swapping, gilet-wearing country bumkins as I imagine?
