Bit of fun - you can predict your result for all of the remaining matches and see "your" league table https://www.hertfordshiremercury.co.uk/sport/watford-newcastle-safe-west-brom-1209532 For me it was 10 W Ham 43 11 Watford 41 12 Bournemouth 39 13 Newcastle 38 14 Swansea 37 15 Brighton 36 16 Huddersfield 33 17 C Palace 33 18 Southampton 32 19 Stoke 31 20 West Brom 30
10 Watford 46 11 Bournemouth 45 12 Swansea 42 13 West Ham 40 14 Newcastle 38 15 Huddersfield 38 16 Palace 37 17 Brighton 34 18 Stoke 32 19 Southampton 31 20 WBA 30 I very much doubt it will correct as there are far too many low totals, but this is what it came out like.

I was 'realistic' erring on the side of hopeful - wins against WBA, Bournemouth, Palace and Newcastle plus a couple of draws. 6 losses. Even if a couple of those wins are losses or draws we should still be okay. The thing is there are so many teams scrapping it out, and assuming WBA are gone, that you are effectively banking on quite a few upsets against big clubs for more than a couple of the 11 in the scrap to go on a serious run.
I'm not using this tool as its impossible to predict any match at all and you end up just using gut feel to average out the results. I hope you're right but to state the obvious, a run of W4 D1 L6 is a hell of a better return than we've seen over the last 3 months.

And also a point at home to Burnley. Didn't realise I was doing it at the time but I was predicting us to lose all of our remaining away games.
Here's my effort: 10 Swansea 42 11 Watford 41 12 Crystal Palace 40 13 Newcastle 40 14 Bournemouth 39 15 West Ham 37 16 Huddersfield 33 17 Southampton 33 18 Brighton 31 19 Stoke 28 20 West Brom 24
Interesting. I'm terrible at predictions but my rules were to assume the top 6 will win all of their games (home or away) and to take a pessimistic view in respect of our games (I predicted we would draw 4 and lose the rest) and we finish 15th. Which I would take!

I did mine with completely honest answers. How the hell are we still so high? I only put us down to win against West Brom, Bournemouth and Newcastle. This is the worst Premier League in a long time.
It is difficult of course to predict results, so you have all come up with slightly different scenarios. There is however one noticeable constant, and putting your forecasts together, it really does look like Stoke and WBA are for the chop.
None of the predictions require more than 37 points to stay up - many 34 would be enough. If that was the case we only need 7 more points while others below us need 1.5 x more with 11. As made obvious its our 6 home games we need to max out on. Even then a couple of points from our away matches (win our a draws at say Huddersfield) could be invaluable. A review after the next three games will see if the predictions are still looking valid
Like others I thought I was being tough on Watford and was surprised how many points I predicted. INteresting how many have WBA and Stoke - and even Southampton. (Sliver anyone)
38 points. Probably. Which could be achieved by H: W2D2L2 and A: W0D0L5 which is what I'm predicting though I don't know which we will be the 4 games we get points from.
On the BBC website http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/43049564 8 more points should be enough but looking at results from last season against the same opponents I would be disappointed if we couldn't get 15 more points from the season.
Huddersfield, Southampton and West Brom go down for me. I was being harsh on us and we still finished 11th.
10th. Watford (48) 11th. Swansea (43) 12th. West Ham (37) 13th. Bournemouth (37) 14th. Huddersfield (34) 15th. Palace (34) 16th. Newcastle (34) 17th. Brighton (32) 18th. Southampton (32) 19th. Stoke (28) 20th. West Brom (22) Strange how I managed to think Watford would finish the season with 48 considering I thought I was being fair with the results (e.g losing to Huddersfield away) If my prediction was to come into play, whatever points we get, it looks as if the minimum points for safety will drop from 40 to around mid 30s which should be achievable from the point that we are already at
Tried to go with what I thought without any prejudices, can't see the table from one game before but according to me 7 teams could join WBA being relegated on the last day. That would make around the grounds interesting!
Wow how did Stoke get all those points in your predictions??? With their next 6 games I can barely see them getting a point.
Good question. I completed that over two hours ago so frankly have very little recollection of any of the results I predicted, however, agreed it looks like I have them making a dramatic improvement, albeit only getting 2 points more than us over the 11 games. Maybe it'll be the Berahino effect, when he regains the form he showed in those 6 games 5 years ago that means some people to this day still believe he is a decent footballer, that fires them to glory? Also not sure how the tool works out goal difference when you only say win lose or draw and I end up with Swansea overturning deficits on both Southampton and Brighton to avoid the drop. Upon reflection my prediction may be a bit crap.
This is how my predictions came out, and I tried to be non biased, so hopefully this is good news: - 10Swansea45 11Watford45 12Bournemouth42 13West Ham37 14Southampton35 15Newcastle35 16Brighton34 17Huddersfield33 18Crystal Palace33 19Stoke30 20West Brom26
Stoke to finish bottom. I had West Brom and Newcastle joining them with us in 11th in 42. I think Bournemouth will finish 10th with a few points gap to us.
We should be hitting at least 40 points and being generous to teams below us that will see us comfortably safe (I hope). I got us finishing 12th on 42 points.
