Swansea's recovery has been remarkable. Almost Lazarus-like. And disappointing, as my pre-season bet for them to be relegated along with Huddersfield and Brighton isn't looking as good as it was a few weeks ago !
I quite like Swansea. From the days of John Toshack and they mirrored our rise from the depths of the old fourth division to near the pinnacle of domestic football. I dislike WBA - Ellington; Stoke - bruisers. Other than that I have no particular clubs that I prefer over others. If Southampton switch to Slither then obviously I hope they fall.
I don't particularly dislike any of the teams in the relegation mix - apart from Palace and, as Kevin Keegan might say, I'd love it, love it, if they went down
Stoke's remaining fixtures look gruelling. I think they will go along with West Bromwich. So it's down to one other probably Huddersfield but won't rule out Southampton based on current run. Unless Swansea hit a bit of patchy form they look ok but have lost some key players to injury.

Giving us 6 home draws and a draw at Huddersfield left the table as above. Not sure how the hell Newcastle got so many points ?
I played the game and shared the outcome for the craic but you can predict any match any way so I don't think it's a great way of coming up with an outcome. Newcastle 47 points? I don't think so. I think we will end up on about 38 points. I hope that will be enough but no guarantees. Lose the next two and we are in real trouble. Win them and we are all but safe. We're all just guessing aren't we.

Different placings but yours is very similar to mine, the bottom three 32 points or below! That would be ridiculous and equally it means we are all but safe, but of course it’s highly unlikely to happen like that.
Interesting that 8 out of the 12 predictions on here mean you could stay up this year on 33 points. I suspect most of us are missing the "desperation" factor where lowly teams gain unexpected results against teams form says they will lose to.
Yes its too easy to just assume that the top 6 will beat everyone. At home that might be highly likely but, as Swansea, CP & Newcastle have shown, thats not always the case away from home against a desperate team.
We must be capable of winning at least 3 games, drawing 2 at least. This will see us more than safe. No sweat. What are you so worried about. WBA are gone and there are a clutch of clubs much worse off then us. Stoke must be feeling sick after dropping points at home; the newbies and Palarse have difficult runs ahead and the Saints show little conviction. At least one win out of next two keeps us on track.
Yes. Likely that we won't go down. But we might. It's all probability. You do understand that don't you or have you decided 100% it's impossible for us to go down ?
West Brom, Bournmouth, Burnley, Palace, Huddlesfield & Newcastle What could possibly go wrong for a team that have been perennial chokers when it comes to the important matches ?
I threw in a few shock wins for our rivals against bigger teams and we were still comfortable. I reckon a couple of home wins and a couple of home draws should do it. Not an unreasonable expectation.
