What you talking about Nic Cage has been in some class movies , Wild at heart, lords of war and errm the other ones
Yep I got taken in by Monster in the closet http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0091544/ Very little can match that for utter utter ****
Wow this thread is more light hearted Not going to get to confident until we get another couple of wins, but 3-1Watford
It's all a matter of taste of course, but I cannot watch Gladiator, Russell Crowe is simply awful - my dining room table has more animation. Here is a picture of Crowe on the Gladiator set (clouds are nice): He almost (but not quite) rivals Keanu Reeves in every film after the Bill and Teds. Seth got it right: ...and as for Kevin Costner - here he is in Waterworld, or maybe "3 Days to Kill" or maybe any film after Dances with Wolves - but definitely not Robin Hood Prince of Planks: Dreadful lot, just awful.
Russell Crowe won the best actor Oscar for Gladiator!!! He definitely comes across as an unrestrained bogan **** in several ways outside films, but I'll always love him for Maximus.
Maxi did well when he came on, but Richy worked so hard for his 65 minutes; I don't know if our initial approach would have been as successful had they traded places. That being said, Gracia might not consider that exact same approach necessary. I think Richy looked much, much improved on Monday, and starting against Spam might well be what he needs to get back to scoring form and push on again.
I did a top 50 last week actually when I couldn't sleep as our 3 month old was crying like Silva when his watch went back to the sponsors... I may share on shoutbox on Saturday if the game us bobbins..
Slight aside, but when are they going to release the rest of the new season...or is that it till next one ?
As a classics student myself, I always believed that the Illiad would make an amazing film, but then I saw Troy and realised I was wrong
The miniseries adaptation of The Odyssey with Armand Assante as Odysseus always stands out in my mind as a significant memory from childhood, although I haven't watched it since then to see whether it stands up at all. I remember it being suggested at the time of Troy that Sean Bean might reprise his role as Odysseus for a film. He probably would have been good.
I think if we go ahead the atmosphere from the home fans could be very negative which will hopefully play into our hands. Their fans seem to be loosing patience with the board now.
Ah come on wild at heart is a great movie I will be honest he isn’t the greatest actor in the world , but who doesn’t like kick ass
I read the book whilst in hospital. I spent three days waiting for something to happen. I rarely throw books away and usually re-read them - this one went into the bin when I had finished. It is however a favourite in Charity shops.
Debbie Does Dallas - can't beat the old classics!! As for the game, 3-1 to the hornets - hat trick for the Brazilian wonderkid
I love Brendan Fraser in a very non-gay-but-I-guess-maybe-a-little-gay way. You can't tell me you prefer TC's The Mummy to Brendan's. George of the jungle - a classic. Ok that's about it. And The Mummy 3 was a bit crap too. So The Mummy 1 and 2 and George of the Jungle. Admittedly the Mummy films are mainly good because of Rachel Weisz. So George and the jungle. He was ok in that.
Besides playing the Invisible Man the Mummy must be the oddest role an actor can play. Take a tall actor like Christopher Lee, wrap him bandages...hang around the set all day. Occasionally the director asks him to stand up, walk stiffly with arms out in front then on cue make a few low moans. Only way an actor like Brendan Fraser can shine in comparison. Talking of utter chumps Lawrence and Merson have absolutely excelled themselves in their predictions for our next match. You can see why the betting industry would rather trust an Octopus let alone a super computer for something approaching a balanced outcome. Give me strength. These utter clowns do have some vague entertainment value but anyone tuning in for the first time would have no idea they ever played professionally. Very much enjoying the movie thread guys.
The best film for hooligan based fiction? For me ID. I can't believe they made a sequel last year. I can't believe I watched it. I can't believe how bad it was. I can believe we will win tomorrow though.
