Gabbiadini hasnt flopped, he's just being managed by a manager who is ******. He hasnt had the opportunities to flop. The fans rate him highly.

Can I be the first to say the grammar used by moog here is shocking. For a start the full stops. Secondly gonna and finally he is Columbian so of course he won't play for the US.

Gabbiadini has the exact same minutes to goal ratio as Gray, funnily enough. He's only played 350 minutes less than Gray, over a total of 22 league appearances to Gray's 26. Gray also has 3 assists, to Gabbiadini's none.

(This is not to say I'm particularly defending Gray, though I am definitely in agreement that we player better collectively with him compared to with Troilus, and that he himself has been mismanaged in terms of being yanked out of the team every time he's scored. He's not good enough really, but he could be better)

I think one thing that is blown well out of proportion is how profligate Gray really is. Admittedly he's missed 3/4 oppertunities you would hope he'd score, but what striker doesn't?

Compare him with Kane for example, who's played the same amount of games:

Kane - shooting accuracy: 41%, big chances missed: 14
Gray - shooting accuracy: 32%, big chances missed: 6

Obviously I'm not putting Gray and Kane in the same bracket, only trying to highlight that even the top strikers in the division amazingly do actually miss the chances that come there way. The difference being is that they are afforded far more oppertunities to make amends, whereas Gray might get one every two games.

Silva obviously had a big say in bringing Gray in, and I do feel he was brought in solely to put Silva's tactics into practice. The wingers were tasked to play as strikers when we were attacking, and Gray's job was to stretch the defence to allow the space for them to run into. For all Rich's excellence early season, putting chances on for others was not his strong point. The Swansea goal was the first real clear chance Gray had been given all season to score.

Rich gets away with a lot of criticism, but he should shoulder a lot of the blame for how few oppertunities he lays on for others. Using the same stats, his shooting accuracy is 20%, and he's missed 10 big chances. If he'd have laid a few of those off for others, I'd wager Gray would have far more goals.

My god, you're comparing a rolls royce to a lada!

That being said, I agree with you in that it's bonkers that we didn't persevere with gray when he scored his goals.

Yet the ejaculate trails lead for miles behind many pundits and forum members due to this guy.

Will lead us to World Cup glory.

This is a football forum. It is not formal letter writing. The use of full stops to engage emphasis is common and modern in informal writing. Informal writing itself is similar to a spoken conversation and includes slang, figures of speech, broken syntax, asides and so on. Informal writing takes a personal tone, as if you were speaking directly to your audience (see- skills you need).
If you wish to be excessively pendantic for entertainment purposes, you may want to check how and when to use commas, as your second and last sentence are sadly lacking. I, for one, would like to see a moritorium on the overscrupolous analysis of each other's posts as it is f*****g boring.

Somebody tell Gino, he could do with passports for Hernandez and Penrada*

    * not going to bother checking the spelling of their names as they probably won’t ever play for us so it doesn’t matter.
