    Pay the money for Dendoncker now would be nice.

    Confused as to why we still aren’t looking to sign defenders - according to Leventhal anyway. What the recruitment and coaching team see in these defenders to think we don’t need new ones, baffles me. Won’t conplain before the window ends but looks like another one where the defence is treated as the poor relation once again.

    First Gerard since Lavin I believe, got to add some value. From the little research I have done (absolutely none) distinctly less Scottish too.

    Think this lad has to add a bit of value, used to showboat without actually delivering, hopefully he has grown up a bit since then. Have to say this is exactly the sort of guy that could get some oomph back it the team.

    A few years back not in my wildest dreams could I imagine Watford would sign a player from Barcelona, or let's face it from Juventus or AC Milan and there are people out there complaining about the Pozzos.

    The thought strikes me that Depardieu is moving from playing alongside Messi to alongside Gray.

    He might need to adjust his playing style slightly.
