From the reaction on BT Sport, Rich will likely get a retrospective 2 game ban.

    TBF, Robbie Savage defended him.

I can't speak now due to a loss of my voice after screaming. Great performance today, particularly the second half. I have to say, Arsenal were poor, I saw the line-up and could see their normal creativity wouldn't be there, so the first goal was a sucker punch. The belief of the players to keep on going was great. Don't think it was a penalty, but we're still down tonight on decisions against us this season so we were due one.

Who scored the Pen and put pressure on the keeper to create the chance for Cleverley? Are you sure?

Not saying Richarlison didn’t make a decent contribution, but to deny Deeney didn’t also make a very significant one is extremely churlish.

There was contact between the players so it's complete nonsense to say Richarlison dived, Belerin did lean into him

Just didn't particularly think it was a pen, could have gone either way

I didn't say he didn't. I said Richarlison drove the game forward and the others, including Deeney, joined in. Apologies if that didn't come across earlier.

The first half was so disappointing against a poor Arsenal side there to be got at.

The last thirty minutes after the two substitutions were wonderful.

We owe Ozil for missing that great chance to go 2-0 up, and the penalty was very dodgy and Richarlison could yet face a two-match ban by the new panel, but that aside what a terrific fight back.

The thing that makes me happiest tonight is feeling we really belong at this level now.

    Fantastic.

What a result. First 20 minutes we looked the stronger tram but Arsenal grew into the game and we sat off more and more as a result before they eventually scored. We were a little fortunate not to be 2-0 down at HT.

2nd half saw a bright start falter again and we relies on Gomes a number of times to bail us out. Outside of the saves I was impressed when he read danger early on from an arsenal counter and came out to get the ball saving Britos and Holebas.

After the pen we looked in control and it was only a matter of time.

Fair enough. I think Richarlison was a threat throughout the game, as he generally is, however as I see it (rightly or wrongly) Deeney tipped the balance in our favour when he came one. He may not have contributed as much as Richarlison did, but without bringing him on I don’t think collectively we would’ve had quite enough to get the result we did.

A 2-1 win v arsenal would have felt like a huge achievement a few seasons ago, but now it's just like beating WBA or some other also-ran.

Nice to have the three points obviously, but it's just another game against an average side.

Shame the banner didn't have 'Wenger Out!' printed on the other side.

So many late goals this season. I love our team spirit and bravery.

I thought we started well and then lost a bit of belief. The Arsenal goal was incredibly soft, and my only criticism of Silva is that his zonal marking is giving the opposition at least one point blank header each match.

Arsenal fell apart after taking off Welbeck. Deeney was a game changer, and we can’t really justify starting Gray over him anymore. Deeney did everything Gray didn’t: compete in the air, hold up the ball, chase down the ball effectively (although admittedly this is easier against tired legs).

Arsenal ping the ball about nicely and counter with pace, but are nowhere near the top 4 right now.

Britos absolutely bossed Giroud when he came on, and that sub weakened them.

Doucoure was the best midfielder on the park, and he’s exactly the kind of player Arsenal like. I wouldn’t be surprised if that performance impressed Wenger.

We have so many pessimistic fans. I had to act like a bit of a cheerleader today. We had pace on the bench, we have come from behind/ scores so many late goals and we were always in the game. Comments like “they’re ****ing playing better football than us, were going to get thrashed” are ridiculous. A bit more noise and a bit less moaning will make the matchdays even more enjoyable.

    I’m loving this season.

If Hazard / Sterling / Aguero / Alli get a knee knock in the box experts say - well there was slight contact and he is entitled to go down - Richarlison does it and he is a diving cheat - **** em - if he gets a 2 match ban it will be totally unequal treatment - so you can bank on it

In case anyone is wondering, the 2018/2019 Champions League final is going to be held in Madrid at the Wanda Metropolitano on June 1st, 2019.

There is noway they can ban Richarlison for diving because he didn't dive. ******* made contact which sent him to the ground. Sometimes those are given other times they aren't. One thing that you can be certain about is that if it was the other way round, Wenger and the rest of his moaning side kicks would all be saying it was a pen.

Having been at the game I am catching up on comments from those that watched it on TV. I am guessing that it was a completely different perception on TV as the ground was loud pretty much throughout and everyone in yellow (with perhaps the exception of Gray) played well.

I've no doubt he'll get a ban but I'm also sure that far worse dives will go unpunished and the reaction on BT Sport wouldn't have been anything like that if it was Dele Alli or Marcus Rashford or Theo Walcott. Graham Poll has cranked up the pressure on the panel to ban him by saying that it's an easy decision for the panel.

Unless there is another camera angle, I can't see how they can say it's conclusively a dive. The only zoomed in angles focus on the legs (where there was contact, albeit minimal). From the zoomed out angle it looked like there was also a possible push from Bellerin. To decide that Richarlison has categorically cheated on that evidence when he was running at full speed is almost impossible.

It was a stone bonk pen and Bellenderin should have been sent off.

If not for the foul, then for being a vinegar-faced Catalan separatist with a girl's haircut.

I'm stunned that Wenger saw the penalty incident.

I didn't think it was a penalty, but I don't believe there was any diving either. This evens up some of the toss decisions we suffered v Man City.

Richarlison Dove, Deserves the two match ban, But who cares. We beat Arsenal, Richarlison is a Hero in my Books.
Chelsea Next, Take the Loss or the Draw and have Carillo Replace an Eventually Banned Richarlison.

As I am a University student and in incredible debt I wont be able to make it to the Champions league games next season, But il manage from my small 20 Inch TV.

To be honest I thought that was one of our worser performances this season, and we still got all three points against one of the 'big' clubs.

These late goals are honestly gonna do my heart in.

Being sat at the far end of the SEJ stand, was pretty disgusted as to the amount of arsenal fans around me - weren't even quiet about it either!
