Not just from our girls, misplaced from both sides in approx 25 minutes, it was probably more as nearly every turnover was either from a mistake or a poor pass .... No I didn't count them exactly.
There's quite an important football match going on tonight, hasn't anyone got anything to say about it? I know it only involves GIRLS, but still, it's the best chance an England football team has of winning something for more than half a century, and even if they lose, it's FOOTBALL and we haven't had much of that lately. Also, it will probably be quite entertaining and we might see some cracking goals.
To qualify that - that's based on this terrible performance. I can't believe that I've invested my time and emotion in watching this bollox.
It's not made any better by the constant reminders from the commentator about which of them play for Arsenal.
Women's football is odd. There's absolutley no quality anywhere on the pitch. Nobody has the ability to keep close control if the ball and you could probably win everything with one player who could kick it further than 40 metres and one player who could shoot. When kids play in the playground the keepers end up being those who can't actually play and I feel something similar happens in womens football. And it irks me that this **** gets incredible amounts of media coverage.
Like I said, I want to like this, but it's reprehensible. If this is the pinnacle of the game, its a shoddy advert and the game should be nowhere near mainstream television.
More proof that women are every bit men's equal. They are just as capable of giving us hope only to crush it in a pitiful performance at a major tournament.
Score flattered England. Dutch played football, we hoofed it. Don't blame women's football for our Stone Age tactics
Tactics were irrelevant. England were terrible individually and collectively. They can't control, can't pass, never move off the ball - it's sickening to watch. I'm actually quite angry that this type of **** is on national television.
They didn't try to pass - hoof, hoof. Same as in the other games but Dutch good enough to keep possession and deny our forwards a chance.
Forget the Stone age. The occupants of Jurassic Park are all of a sudden alive and well again on this thread.
Bit of excuses making from the manager there talking about not getting the decisions - maybe not a surprise I guess. Typical management speak!
I was shocked at the amount of diving from the England team in and around the area. Pretty embarrassing.
