because the papers know hes after wingers every possible winger will be linked to him, like when in the january transfer window because the press knew we wanted a striker every striker this side of the moon was at some point linked to us
Now they reckon they can get him for £3m http://home.skysports.com/list.aspx?hlid=479579&CPID=8&clid=54&lid=2&title=Fulham+bid+for+Bouazza
That's what happens when you first say "mega money", then "£5m", then make it known "£4.2m" should do the job. It just leaves you open to downwards negotiation.
Spot on. I think this link pretty much sums up the conversation between Aidy and Sanchez http://images.google.co.uk/imgres?i...an&start=18&gbv=2&ndsp=18&svnum=10&hl=en&sa=N
NO CHANCE of him leaving for a straight 3 million squid. What I am cacking my pants about is that he will go and we get Colinsscum John and a £million+
I know mate but if WFC had said '£5m and no lower' and stuck to their guns, we wouldn't now be in a situation where Foolham are wasting everyones time by making trivial bids and letting it be know through the media that they think it's enough.
Fulham bid for Bouazza http://home.skysports.com/list.aspx?hlid=479579&CPID=8&clid=54&lid=2&title=Fulham+bid+for+Bouazza
Isn't that called haggling.Or is Aidy Brian, from the life of Brian... how much is that gord... 20 dina, ok I'll take it... classic comedy.
Skysports.com understands that Fulham have lodged a bid for Watford's Hameur Bouazza. The Algerian international is looking to make the step back up to the Premier League, following Watford's relegation last summer. The 22-year-old is being trailed by a number of clubs, but Fulham are looking to win the race to land him and have made their move. Portsmouth, West Ham and Derby are amongst the other suitors and could mount rival bids in the coming days. Watford are standing firm over their valuation of Bouazza and insist they will not let him leave cheaply, but Fulham will hope their bid - believed to be £3million - will be enough to secure a deal. PLEASE NO ... ESPECIALLY NOT 3 MILLION
He's more consistent than Bouazza yeah! Bouazza is only worth about £3,000,000. He's no better than that! McAnuff is a better player IMO!
Fulham would be foolish to pay more than 3-4 million for Bouazza but then again I would like to keep him unless Hamuer really wants to leave and starts causing problems in the dressing room.
I'm getting fed-up with this deluded fantasy that Bouazza's worth £5,000,000+!!! It wasn't long ago we were all hoping he'd **** off to Swindon for nothing because he wasn't good enough!! Yes, he's come back and he's done OK since then, but only OK! If he produced the quality performances 75% of the time rather than 35% of the time then he'd be up there in the £5,000,000 bracket IMO! Bouazza will move to a Premiership club (good luck to him) and he'll end up at a micky mouse club like Fulham...we'll be passing them in the summer anyway, so Bouazza will be back to square one, playing in the Championship!! Just look at the clubs in for him...Derby, Birmingham and Fulham!! Micky mouse clubs! Ashley Young went for £9,500,000 and was linked with Arsenal, West Ham, Liverpool, Spurs and obviously Villa...all far bigger clubs! It speaks volumes....Bouazza is OVERRATED!!!! Bye bye Hameur and good riddance!
hameur has been excellent pre season and has looked very sharp, he is a player with awesome talent, having said that Macca has also looked good this pre season and looks as though if given the chance this could be his season. I would personally hold out for 4-5m for Bouazza as we don't especially need the money and would be great to keep him, however he does play with attitude and I think if we don't let him talk to Fulham he'd throw a strop! I actually wouldnt mind getting Collins John in exchange for him plus a small fee could work out quite well.
Very harsh. When he first broke into the side he had RL. He didnt have 100% confidence in players. Always prefered his oldie goldies. In my book he's done more than ok since he has come back. He looked our most threatening player. Got goals, created goals and I think his work rate actually got better. He's only 22, great pace(a great attribute in the prem) and an international yes it's only Algeria but still get the experience of national level. Yes alot of people wanted him out before Swindon but alot of people wouldnt know / spot talent if it bit them on the bum tbh. You could tell that he would always make it I had every confidence he scored at ease at Acadmey and Reserve level and knew he would make the step up like he did. He is amongst the goals in pre season and can only improve. He is one of our best players easily so why do people seem so glad for him to go. I'm sure his new agent has alot to do in him wanting to leave all of a sudden. Even if he is having a bit of a sulk lets try and keep him i'm sure alot of WBA wanted a move last season like Davies, Koumas but they managed to keep em and they played a vital role in there big push for promotion. Rant over! Keep the quality! get rid of the **** (Mahon):rant::rant:
Collins John wouldn't come to us when we were in the Premiership, so why would he now? I agree Hameur would throw his toys out the pram if we told him he was staying, that's why it's best just to f**k him off now and buy a replacement like Huckerby or Brunt!
The idea in principal of an enthusiastic Collins John showing the form he had in his FC Twente days against teams in The Championship would appeal. However, not the £30,000 a week player that would be moping around the pitch and moaning that he's playing at a level below his calibre. Unfortunately, Fulham fans have seen only the latter.
£3million!!! No way Pedro!!! We should stick to our guns and say £5million or nothing!!! After all we don't need to sell, and although Hammeur may not be worth £5million on the open market, he is worth keeping!!! So there is no point in selling him unless, as Aidy has said, someone offers silly money!!! And that is at least £5million NOT THREE!!!
Sorry totally disagree. The only thing I agree with there is Gavin Mahon out! I also stuck up for Ashley Young when he was getting stick in Lewington's last season...people said he wasn't good enough and I was one of a few that said he'll be quality, he just needs some experience! Now look at him! Bouazza is worth no more than £3,000,000...simple as that! We'll see where he is this time next season won't we....no doubt looking for another move to the prem after Fulham's relegation!
Oh come on. The value of a player depends not only on the current and potential ability of a player, but also on the club that owns him and the length of his contract. We need Bouazza here much more than we need an extra £3M ! He was one of the few bright lights for us last season, he's young and has the physical and technical abilities to become a very, very good player indeed. He's contracted to us for 3 more years. If we're serious about the 2010 plan he'll have no reason to leave us when the contract is up. Keep him at (almost) any cost! Let him leave only for a crazy fee (£7-8M).
I'll bet he's taking the Flyer to St Albans, where he'll run to the station to get the Thameslink to King's Cross, and then get the tube to Putney Bridge. GOD IT'S SO OBVIOUS
Hope this happens. BBC are reporting Fulham are in for N'Zogbia aswell for 3m. Would be ****ing gutted if that went through. Hopefully if Buozza went they wouldn't need him.
Whilst im not Boozers biggest fan, i do agree that he was one of our better players last year and I also agree that we need him more than £3million right now What bothers me more is our clubs constant ability to back track..... if Boozer does go, you can bet your life the fee will be undisclosed! "We will NOT sell our crown jewels" That statement bothers me even more!
wooooooo:]] sorry just did this to get the 100th post. Seemed fitting as I started it lol sorry guys carry on ...
from tonystarks. He has some kind of connection with Bouazza somehow. Knowing Bouazza, I can assure you he is very loyal to Watford. Afterall, it is at Watford that got the chance to develop into a professional player, a chance he would not have got had he stayed in France. At the same time, having had a pretty good first season in the EPL, it makes sense from his point of view to make the most out of it, and that is find another EPL team to play for. If he doesnt move this summer, he will have no problem staying at Watford. So you all dead this talk about having a 'disgruntled player' on the team because Hameur is not like that.
KJ hot and bothered again my friend? you should have come to germany mate, great time and walking around looking for hostels, pubs and grounds in 30 degree heat would really get you hot and bothered.
