we've got extreme heat over here in melbourne, been the hottest summer in years got to 47 degrees today which i'm not sure what it equates to in fahrenheit but i went for a walk and the wind was sooooo hot it felt like you were being cooked alive, alot of people have lost their houses and we've been having blackouts bcoz the power grid cant keep up with all the demands of people having the a/c on. its midnight here and it still 32 degrees! i think i've lost about a stone in sweating today!
I couldn't stand that heat. Even the night time heat of 32 degrees is too much for me. I'd rather have the snow.
its now become the worst natural disaster in australian history, at least 84 people dead and whole towns have been burnt to the ground, yesterday the city of melbourne was full of smoke being blown in from the surrounding areas.. i've known people who have lost houses and its like a warzone out there with dead bodies of humans and animals around the place...terrible:'(
