Who is your favourite BPL team and why?

Mine is Arsenal because they are a proper football club with a similar ethos on youth players as we have, they are also training neighbours and I went to the Emirates two seasons ago and was impressed by how classy it was.

Mine would be Arsenal as well. Always liked the way they play, and are similar to watford in some ways (youth etc)

I don't understand how people can like Arsenal. Annoying armchair fans. **** new stadium with no atmosphere. Annoying manager who is a terrible loser. How they supposively have such a great youth academy when really they play a few players in the Carling Cup and they then end up in crap going on loan loads of time and end up in the Football League. Also how they apparently play 'the best football' is nonsense. Clearly Man City play the best football as they won the f**king league!

**** Arsenal and **** the Premier League

None of them really, my old man supports West Ham so I'll look out for their result over anyone elses I guess.

None of them. Can't stand the league or the clubs in it.

How on earth anyone can like Arsenal is beyond me. Arsenal are no longer a proper football club. The stadium is designed for corporates, the cheaper season tickets are over £700, the suppporters are a majority new breed, their youth policy is pinch as many cheap Africans as they can and then pass them off as 'home grown and the manager is a ****.

Voted Wigan as they seem to wind everyone up and somehow seem to stay in the division every year. Plus I like Roberto Martinez too. It's hilarious when they beat the big clubs and feel sorry for them as Wigan is a clear Rugby town

Agreed. Arsenal are a joke and their fans wind me up as much as any. Irritating how many Arsenal fans you see leaving Watford Junction or Hemel on Matchdays, **** 'em.

    Watford, Udinese and Granada.

We are Pozzo owned now. We have no other ties to any other clubs.

Just saying, supporting Watford is hard enough work don't know why you'd want another club to support, especially someone like Utd, Chelsea or Arsenal. Hate all three of them

Show me where I said about supporting another club?

Maybe I phrased it wrong, but my point still stands. I don't get how someone who is a Watford fan can look at Arsenal and like what they've done. Can't bloody stand 'em

It's not the only reason that I think they're a decent team, and obviously they are not important to me like Watford is but just because you like another FC doesn't mean you support them, I like all English football not just the Championship so I'm bound to take an interest in a few other teams

Surely all football clubs are proper if that is your criterion. They can afford a stadium like that because the have sugar daddies and most of their academy is filled by French players.

I'm sure Herbert Chapman would be pleased.

I support no one in the EPL but I do dislike Abu Dhabi United and Chavsea intensely. May they crash and burn.

How have we got so many fans on here who support other clubs? Very surprised at this, and a little disappointed too actually.

Granted, you didn't, but absurd IMO that there are people on here who actually have favourite teams in England after Watford. Surely the only teams any Watford fans should look out for after this club are solely Udinese and Granada? Maybe I'm in the minority here but I certainly don't get it.

My mate is a Reading & Man Utd fan. Hopefully he wakes up one morning and smells the coffee.

Learn to properly support your own club please ;)

Mine is Man City. I used to be a massive Man Utd fan, then I was hardcore Chelsea for a while, but now I support Man City. I supported them before they won the title so I'm not glory hunting. My uncle used to follow their games and he told me about them so I chose them as my team. I also keep an eye on Watford because they're my nearest club, but I don't support them as they'll never win anything.

:sign15:Spot on. plus every other celeb seems to support Arsenal these days. Strangely i never minded them under George Graham back in the 90s when they were boring and only real Arsenal fans could support them. Now they attract most of the 'johnny come lately i've just got into this footy lark ya ya' brigade.

I so hope they become like Spurs used to be i.e mediocre mid table.

So because I look out for another clubs performances it makes me less of a Watford fan.. sigh, I have a ST, I sing, I always wear yellow to a game, sorry for being a bad fan

I and a few others here have a local team that is not part of the FA. It's pretty typical for non-English football fans to follow more than just your local team, but it doesn't really make sense that there be more than one 'favourite' in any given country.

If you don't have the experience of seeing your club, Watford, play against teams like Arsenal or Liverpool or Chelsea, I can see where one might be tempted to pick one from 'this league' and one from 'that'. However, WFC have played against all these teams and recently too.

Watford is the only English football club I hope to see succeed. I hope the Arsenal team bus knocks the United team bus off the edge of the cliffs of Dover before being crashed into by the debris from a midair collision of Man City's plane and Chelsea's plane. I hope the Newcastle training room gets infected with Ebola on the day they play Fulham. But that's just me.

I think out of all those teams I've only actually seen Stoke play, but tbh the premiership is a bit meh to me. I was at Reading Uni and they seem to have a lot of Ex horns so it would be between these two.
