Mario Strikers Charged Football - For some reason I had endless fun with this game online. FIFA would be so much better if you could throw a hammer at someone.

I enjoyed that game too, one of the better Wii games

Up there with Mario Kart and Twilight Princess.

My favourite console game would have to be Resident Evil 4 on the PS2, although it was the start of a new era for Resident Evil zombies which I didn't favour it is still a great game.

For the past couple of years I've only played FIFA/CoD on the PS3 which is a shame as I would like to try new things out but I wouldn't know what to go for, any suggestions are welcome.

Yes Mario Kart was my favourite Wii game, I was so keen when playing online... got to the point where if I didn't win a race then I would lose about 200 points on my 'gamer score' or whatever it was.. da***

Same, it was a right pain in the arse. I think that is what stopped me playing it online.

Goldeneye is the greatest game ever, spent my so much of my uni life smashed off me head playing that and Mario Kart. It came out on the Wii a couple of year ago and I had to buy it, it was a pretty good version.

Destroy all humans on the ps2 was good, and james bond nightfire.

Age of empires 2 was amazing, many many hours wasted playing that game as a kid. Also pokemon red on the gameboy colour.

EDIT: Rome total war as a PC game too.

Mass Effect 2 - amazing. Such a shame the series ended the way it did.

Also the first place I ever heard 'Heart Of Courage' was in this trailer.

the g1 jockey games have always been very fun. such a simple premise but well created, simple controls and challenging gameplay.

    Sensible Soccer - obvious choice.
Worms - PS1, used to love that game, great sound effects as well.
Perfect Dark - N64, loved Goldeneye, so naturally also loved Perfect Dark, especially massacring the meat sims on death match.
Driver - PS1, another great game but I never got around to playing any of the later versions.
Streets of Rage and any of the Sonic games on Mega Drive.
Crash Bandicoot - spent 2 weeks in my first year of uni with a mate on a mission to complete every game on every console. 2 solid weeks without leaving the room for anything but a **** or a trip to tesco to re-up on beer and pizza.
