Can you? Are you spying on me? :]] I think Beardsley would be a good replacement for Rooney and a foil for Owen...I actually would go as far to say Rooney isn't a good a player as Beardsley was in his day!

I think with two good holding mids - Hargreaves more defensive minded than Barry I think - Gerra can concentrate on attacking play and with Ash and Rooney as wing attackers - each pulling in centrally when the play builds up on the other side of the pitch. Only thing missing is a target man and I don't know if England can play without one?!
