I havn't followed this much this year, and apparently it isn't "cool" to watch it, but I think Fleur is brilliant. What a talent!
I'm getting a bit bored of her to be honest. She's done the same thing over and over. She's a good dancer when she's performing, but to me that is a side issue. She's an average singer. I don't like Ben Hey Now either. He's done the gravelly voiced thing to death now. Andrea to win and then all of them to disappear from memory, apart from one of the groups who get pushed down the throats of every tweenage girl until they are as big as Wand Erection.
Hadn't seen her until last night, I tend to only watch the 'highlights' (if that's what they can be called - it's been awful this year, and I'm normally a big fan) on YouTube. I've always skipped her performances but watched the Mark Ronson cover yesterday and thought it was fantastic. Very rare to see someone as comfortable dancing as she is, and she's an impressive singer too. Not sure how we'll she'd fare selling music, though, I could see her being an Alexandra Burke with one successful album then disappearing. I can see Lauren getting a record deal, even though I'm not too impressed with her. Fairly weak voice and if you compare her to Ella Henderson from a couple of years back there's no competition. If there was someone who looked like Lauren and sang like Ella, she'd be one of the biggest female pop stars in the world. Still, as they apparently mention regularly, she's still a teenager with plenty of time to improve vocally. Ben has a nice voice but there's something there I'm just not on board with. Might be that he makes the same changes to every song, every week. Don't like Andrea as a singer. Talented but I find him boring. Wrecking Ball on Saturday was horrible.
Ben will be the biggest seller out of all of the acts this year. Andrea is boring as hell. Ugly singer to watch too.
