I went last night and there's nothing familiar about it at all. Wycombe were a class above Maccie, played some beautiful one touch stuff through the middle playing triangles and running off the ball. most of the time the man on the ball had three options of what to do with it. it fell down everytime the keeper hoofed it up to their two 5ft 6in forwards. It was a very enjoyable nights football. One brilliant premiership class goal, one conference class comedy **** up goal. it had everything.
They are going well but hopefulyl we won't have to vist Adams Park next season! Remember going on a Boxing Day (0-0) when we won Div 2 and it took ages to get home. Only one way in and out.
Yes I remember that game, was so cold that don't that I remember much about the game at all and then having to get through the industrial estate ques to get home. Wycombe have also strangely today basically brought Wasps Rugby club as well with the Managing Director of Wycombe becoming owner of Wasps. I wonder if this is a pattern that might follow in the future. Simpson to buy Sarries instead anyone!
